That loss to Butler was so brutal.  We were a 4 pt favorite to be in the damn Final 4....in Indy of all places (driving range).  And if we woulda got there we woulda played a Michigan State team that scored like 60 points a game that we woulda been favored against.  Coulda been in the chip game against Rat Face and Duke.  Probably be awhile before we are favored in an Elite 8 game.

We won't know until the brackets are released, but I doubt there will be a significant difference between 7, 8, or 9s. Of course, there might also not be much difference between a 1 or 2. Depends on who we get. So whatever, let's just get the highest seed we can get.

The difference in being a 7 instead of an 8 or 9 is a 2nd round game against Arizona or Florida that I deem totally un-winnable compared to a Nova/Duke/Wisky that is maybe not quite as totally un-winnable.

ok so...

win and either OU loss to WVU tonight or TTU beats UT this weekend (assuming TCU loses to UT and OU) and we get the 3 seed. play Baylor again if ISU beats OSU this weekend or OSU if they beat ISU.

WOULD TAKE.

Exactly...need WVU over OU tonight or Tech over UT on Saturday along with a W from EMAW.  Come on Huggins.  Remember, OU lost at home to TTech...its possible. 8 pt dog.

KU was -3.5 at Bramlage.  Game will be a PK or KSU -1 IMO.

Last year we won the Big 12 and were 27-7 and got a 6 seed.


This year we are not winning the Big 12, currently have 8 losses and will almost for sure have at least 10 by Selection Sunday...I'd say a 6 is out of the question and 7 is a long shot.  Get ready for an 8/9 with Florida or Syracuse waiting for us.  Don't think we're lucky enough to get that 8/9 in St Louis with the Shockers.

Big 12 Standings

1. Kansas (14 - 4)
2. Oklahoma (12 - 6)
3. Texas (11 - 7) Defeated Iowa State based on record against #1 teams.
4. Iowa State (11 - 7) Lost to Texas based on record against #1 teams.
5. Kansas State (10 - 8) Defeated West Virginia based on record against #3 teams.
6. West Virginia (10 - 8) Lost to Kansas State based on record against #3 teams.
7. Oklahoma State (8 - 10)
8. Texas Tech (7 - 11) Defeated Baylor based on record against #2 teams.
9. Baylor (7 - 11) Lost to Texas Tech based on record against #2 teams.
10. TCU (0 - 18)





Id much rather finish 6th.....Only way to finish 3rd now is to win at least 1 on the road if not 2....along with winning out at home. Fak.

Getting the 2 or 3 seed is huge.  Avoid the 11am 4/5 game on Thursday and avoid KU on Friday.  If we are going to get knocked out in the first round I'd rather have it happen on Thurday night after a nice day of drinking rather than at 11am and have it ruin a whole day
