Congrats on the new ride! Guess that means it'll probably snow soon now. :)

Saw the recommendations for ditching the water bottle cage - I'd keep it and add a 2nd. I hate wearing a pack if I don't have to. But YMMV. A hip pack is pretty damn useful also - they make 'em w/ hydration bladders as well if you're dead set against bottles. My $0.02.

hey guys, i'm going to Ft Collins and not those other places, thanks in advance

also weldwerks can be found literally anywhere gmafb

Honestly it's going to be hard to go wrong. So many breweries here and I don't I've ever walked out of one ever saying "I'll never go there again". Ok, so I did say that after going to Pitchers on our "hit 'em all" bicycle brewery tour last fall. Go there if you like shitty beer and carpet from the 80's. But other than that pick some that look interesting and go there.

Here are some of my favorites:

If you're adventurous go to Purpose. Lotta beers that make you say "WTF" when you read the ingredients but they all seem to work. Peter was the head brewer at NBB and then decided to head out on his own (you'll notice a lot of breweries here are like that). Hit up Zwei for amazing German beers (their pilsner is what I crave every time it gets hot). Jessup Farm is another favorite. Never had a bad beer there and their Tequila Train Delay is one of my favorites. Horse & Dragon, Funkwerks, and Snowbank are all really, really good.

If you want to just try a lot of amazing beers without having to travel very far stop at the Tap & Handle and/or the Mayor - their beer lists would rival the best in the world.

Timnath Beer Works is really good also although technically not in FoCo (but it's pretty much). Same with Soul Squared in Wellington.

Stop by a liquor store (Supermarket is my go-to) and get some Mountains Walking. Absolutely amazing beers that I'd put with Weldwerks. Guarantee you aren't getting them in KS so you can impress your friends.

Friends sushi on 39th is my favorite sushi in kc by a lot

I concur.  Use to eat there all the time.  Super low key atmosphere and great food.

Agreed, if we go 2-0 this week, it'll be hard not to think about possibly getting a new crystal bowl

Bet it would be Panama Red.

You sure it's not Chocolate Luke Stout?

 :jerk:

Hah, just giving you grief.  It's good stuff.  Probably my favorite right now.  I like the cocoa mole lips of faith, too.

Due to recent constitutional amendments there will soon be ample business opportunities in the recreational weed smoker market.  Was thinking a BYOP (or all-in-one shop, depending on how regulations pan out) bar/smoke club.  Nugs-n-Mugs.  Keeping a record of this in case any of you steal the name.

We're gonna farm the crap out of it.

You wanna move out here and supply product for the bar?

Currently enjoying some O'Dell Lugene Chocolate Milk  Stout.  Tasty, especially if you like Lefthand Milk Stout.
