Kansas State Football / Re: THE BETTER TEAM DID NOT WIN!

Oh look... a Husker fan talking about how awesome they were in the 90's, and trying to shove down our throats how that relates to them being good now.

Nothing new, nothing new.  At least KState is halfway decent now, unlike you guys who ride on the coattails of everyone you ran out of town.  Also, how many of those 90's NU players would be academically and legally eligible to play FOR ANY SEC team?  Not many, not many.

NU leads the country by a large margin in academic all-americans. Read it and weep PigAggie

CoSIDA Academic All-Americans.  The program didn't exist until 1952 and even then, there were less than 10 schools with a School Information director until 1979.  So your numbers are an absolutely, ridiculous joke.

Congrats, I'm sure that your School Information Director's ability to fill out forms in the 50-60-70's compared to the other 10 that also could, is definitely something to be proud of.

Last time I checked BMFP calls the plays!

He may have the final say, but that thing on his head isn't a bluetooth headset to his agent.

Making fun of injured players, wow, Arkansas fans are some of the worst humans on the planet Earth.

Making fun of injured players < making fun of dead player

Nice try, wildcatter.

crap.  Who do we replace Dawson with?  That cat is a bad ass.

Far from it.  You guys were weak and not well conditioned in the games I saw.  Lots of fluke injuries (which can be blamed as bad conditioning/technique), and tons of guys with their hands on their thighs, buckled over, out of breath.  At no point in any of the games I saw, did the KState team look more conditioned than their opponents, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

We don't go broke.

3-2

Is that why half the buildings on your campus are in shambles, and that trashy old stadium is nearly falling down?

In all honesty, this K-State team had no business winning 10 games and going to a major bowl.  We were not the 2nd best team in the Big 12.  We were the grittiest, though.  The talent level of our players is
It's not like the SEC where there are only 2 good teams and a bunch of mediocre teams. Every team you would face, with the exception of KU, would have at least a 30% chance of beating you. The odds of escaping that with only 2 losses are pretty slim.

I think the funny part, is that you guys are dumb enough you actually believe that trash.

8
I assumed Kansas State coaches knew what "All-American punt returner" meant...apparently not. Go ahead, kick to Joe Adams you dipshits

My favorite part was that even after he had taken one back on them, they continued to punt to him.  Truly brilliant coaching.

Pick it apart, analyze it, blame everyone else, keep calling names.

You got beat.

Your team got handled.

The only redeeming aspect of your team last night was the defense. They had a few shining
moments, but, your offensive line sucked, your "running " quarterback got punked by Jake Bequette
and Tank Wright, as predicted.

Again, KSU *might* hang against Mississippi State or Ole Miss were you playing in the SEC.

Stop the whining. Your team got owned in every aspect of the game. That's not mistakes,
not the officials, not the venue...it's the strength of schedule and the conference.

If you want to be the man, you gotta beat the man.  Stop bitching and just take the loss.

grats on your upcoming natl championship.  you've earned it.

Actually we are at 12 to 1 odds on the 2012 National Championship board.  I called because I didn't see KState on the list.  Apparently they aren't even taking bets on KState for it.

10
They had ONE effective drive, and it included some good passes by Klein. Other than that they couldn't run it against our speed. Paul Haynes' specialty was supposed to be run support from the secondary and good tackling, and we clearly had both tonight. He's a gem at DC.

I was very happy with how much better they played, in his short time there.  Awesome, for sure.

11
Of course we did.  When you run for 2.2 rough ridin' yards per carry on 40 carries you better start throwing the ball.  Do you think we're stupid?

Not counting sacks you were running at 4.1 yards a carry.  So, try again.

12
We ran the ball 40 freaking times for only 86 yards.  Are you telling me it would have worked if we had just run it 50 times?

Hey idiot.  You attempted 30 passes, only once this season have you attempted more.

Well they got down early and had to throw. Arkansas is too explosive to linger around if you're down by 7 or 10 points. One quick play and it's a rout.

We shut down their running game like no one else has all season, so they HAD to throw. Did you see how well we played Hubert? Klein only got free for a couple of runs, and those 6 sacks offset his best runs.

Did you watch the game?  Their first offensive series was ALL passing.  When moving the ball at numerous points they went 4/5 wide and tried to throw, effectively killing very effective drives.

But the ones who came here and claimed to know a little something about football unanimously agreed on two points:

1.  KSU would gouge their defense on the ground.

You would have, but you were doing silly crap like passing the first offensive series of each half, and going 5 wide inexplicably on 1st down.

RUN THE BALL RIGHT AT US, ITS SO EASY EVEN VANDERBILT AND OLE MISS CAN DO IT.

If he cant', he can always move to Arkansas and probably be mayor somewhere.

Isn't that what Garden City, Kansas is for?

LOL oh look another delusional Arkansas wanting validation and a self-esteem boost.

Not really. I think you guys would have won had you actually ran your offense and ran the ball right at us.  A classic case of overthinking.

Yes that was a hard cheap no-class hit on Klein.

Also known as Meeeshaq/Meshawq/Mestupid's entire season against opposing QBs.

OSU, OU & Baylor all showed more talent than the team we played tonight.  We just played unSnyder like ball tonight.  Even the game crew was all like wtf, what is KSU doing, we picked them to beat Arkansas.  Oh well.

Out of that group, you only BEAT Baylor, and we are a better team than Baylor.  Ask Mr. Klein, who is still seeing stars.

Yep, he has a glorious reputation in the world of sports.  Just ask the Atlanta Falcons.

He's a college football coach.  Most of them are douchebags.

NFL Coaches have no loyalty to their teams, because their teams have no loyalty to them.  No doubt that during any kind of rough patch they would have ditched Petrino IN A HEARTBEAT.  Sometimes, they even do so midseason.  Anyone with any familiarity with the Atlanta Falcons organization knows it is not ran well and they do not have loyalty to their players or coaches.

Wes, time for you to leave. Go slap weenies with your SEC bros and raise your fists to your superior conference.

Probably not.  I like KState fans, like the forum, and plan to adopt KState Basketball as my go to team for the season (since we are still pretty rough).  I give you guys a hard time, but you aren't KU, so I'm perfectly fine contributing outside the sphere of this game.

oh man. the best part of this exchange is that the guy is a ku fan. you can tell by the "point plankr" and the jar of jayhawk nacho cheese under his username. what a wonderful world.

Can't see such avatars on my mobile device.

in that case.  :ksu: Go to HELL jayhawk fan.  Why are you up in here basking at the misfortune of others instead of facing the fact that your misfortune is much worse and much funnier.

Feels good.

So does starting 2012 with 12 to 1 odds at winning the national championship.  You guys should try it sometimes... oh wait.

Neither team played all that well. Just sucks that we had to put out our second worst effort of the season tonight

You didn't stick with the run game.  Wasn't an effort problem, was a play calling problem.  Stop passing, and run at us, we can't defend it.

And Bobby Petrino is a douchebag.

Yep, totally.  I mean, he only made the largest donation to a philanthropic organization of ANY COACH in the history of college football.
