Need some recommendos for a couple ties. I don't wear them on a regular basis, but when I have to I don't want to look like I pulled one out of my dad's closet, Tia.

http://www.thetiebar.com/

$15 for (nearly) any tie, $6 flat shipping. Great selection, also have longer ties for tall people and skinny ties if that's your thing.

Just saw this.  I got Cole Haans coming early next week from their 30% off.  Like them for a bit bolder business casual.  Will checkout the Allen Edmonds

I've found Cole Haan's to be a little hit or miss. I have a pair of wingtips from them that are great and quite comfortable. They're a little bit too roomy in the instep and they crease more than they should (despite using shoe trees, of course), but very comfy and I like them a lot, especially because I got them at an outlet for like $95. I have another pair of Haan's (Madison, I think) that are very visually appealing and appear to be well crafted, but are uncomfortable after about 4 hours on my feet and also have some weird cushioning in the footbed where I can hear air deflate from it with each step.

I got the McAllister in the walnut color last year during the same sale. Most comfortable dress shoe I own. I wish they'd put the Park Avenue on sale

Anyone notice the old jersey McGruder was wearing for the 3pt contest the other night? I think the white ones were my fav, but we only wore those style for like a year before they made the most recent transition Jake's last season.

Among everything else why do you rough ridin' hold on to the rough ridin' ball for the rough ridin' last shot when you're rough ridin' down 18 mother rough ridin' points?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

eff!!

Seriously?

Because you'd rather not let your opponent get the ball back, especially when they're shooting well over 50%. The odds of getting two possessions in 18 seconds is crap.

Sounds kind of fp, tc to me - just like your post.

Even if I knew what your acronyms stood for, I wouldn't give a crap. oscar won't make the right call every time, but trying to play for two possessions in 18 seconds is just rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). Just like your original post. There are a plethora of other ways to criticize Weber other than the final play of the first half.

Yea we need more anger. I feel like our fanbase has become a bunch of pacifists since even before Weber took over. We need to get it fired again  :curse:

Southwell's reaction at 1:00 is awesome

I rewatched the Pullen tribute video just because it reminded me of Jake on his senior night

In and out in 50 minutes, not terrible. Some trash started getting lippy with one of the clerks, telling her to hurry up. I resisted the urge to punch her face in. As if their job isn't bad enough working in a DMV they have to put up with the ignorant bitch who probably needed to get out of the DMV in a hurry to score some meth.

Nice timing, I have to go get a new one tomorrow in the 'dotte. I'm expecting a 1hr wait. Will report back with results.

I'm pretty sure that kck has a bonito michuacan.  Carnicerias should be on the list.

Clams suggested Bichelmeyer's, and it's near the Kansas Ave neighborhood.   I will consider it.  If someone wants to go and review it, very well.

I am focusing on the Kansas Ave. strip.

I am not sure if you're doing this to purposely limit the scope of your investigation or out of ignorance to the rest of the great Mexican places in KCK. You can eat at a different mexican place every day for a month anywhere along Central ave up to Minnesota or so. Armourdale is certainly the little Mexico of KCK, but the Hispanic population is pretty heavy North of there as well. For you tourists who come to the 'dotte for the Mexican food, don't hamstring yourself by focusing on just one area. Thumbs up to Cire for mentioning Bonito, that place is solid.

That being said, Pollo Rey is great as was mentioned before. I'll do a brief one of Taqueria Mexico for you

Atmosphere is good, and looks like a pretty average mexican joint inside. Clean bathrooms are always a nice surprise.

Service has always been good when I've been there. Even when moderately busy I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 10 minutes for my food. There may only be a couple people on the wait staff that speak English, but they recognize that I'm white so I have never had to order in Spanish there.

Food is great, beef tacos and chicken enchiladas are my favorite. The enchiladas are pretty close to a tex-mex style, but hey you can't argue with good food.

Pro tip: It doesn't hurt to brush up on a bit of Spanish if you're going to adventure to some of these places. Odds are, you'll be able to get by with English in most, but the really tiny joints might only have a couple people working and you'll probably be the only non-Spanish speaker they accommodate all day. You can always get by with pointing to whatever you want on the menu, but I think they appreciate it when I'm not full on gringo when I come in and order. It goes without saying that you shouldn't have the "this is America, you should know English" attitude coming in. We may be in America, but you're on their turf.

Johnnies on 7th in KCK. Drinks are dirt cheap ($1.50 domestic draws every night), owner is a regular bartender, small shuffleboard, foosball table, 2 dartboards, free stale popcorn from a nasty popcorn maker. Plus the music isn't blaring loud. It's heaven

Lately its been
9:30-10:30 week nights
1:00 am weekends

Except last night when some bad person kids ding dong ditched our house @3am and got Mrs. Bf in a frazzle. GET OFF MY LAWN!  :cyclist:  She sent me out with the shotgun to secure the house.  She also called the cops so I had to talk to the towny patrol also.   :bang:

Seriously? Called the cops over a single ding dong ditch? I'd hate to be on patrol in your area

kck was the place i enjoyed living the most, but i was 2 blocks from joco and like 10 from MO, so i'm not so sure it really even counts as kck.

lawrence has the highest fun-to-visit:sucks-to-live-in ratio.

Sure it counts. The rosedale area where you're describing is a pretty good area. Ok Joe's  :lick:

Recently bought the lady friend her first KSU shirt on our recent trip to Manhattan last week. I'm digging the Wabash collection/throwback shirts that are coming out

RCPD is pretty bad at handling this...

They are awful at handling anything not related to MIPs, seat belt violations, and talking on your cell phone.

What would you like them to do? They don't have the manpower to get a team together for just a missing person

I've only crashed hard once (sand when taking a corner), and while i would have been ok without my helmet at that time, the gloves really saved my hands.

Road, Trek Madone 4.7. I'm taking it out in the awful heat today, been a couple weeks.

I feel we should open this back up for discussion, at least regarding our vacancy of compliance. It's all about the little victories at this point.
