The only people who think Google is super liberal are MAGA conspiracy theorists

Golly, why would anyone think that?  Oh, just leaked memos showing Eric Schmidt wanted to be Hillary's lead outside adviser.  Quoting  John Podesta to Robbie Mook (campaign manager) from one memo.
Plus I wasn't talking about the entire company dummy, just the people that really matter:

I met with Eric Schmidt tonight. As David reported, he’s ready to fund, advise recruit talent, etc. He was more deferential on structure than I expected. Wasn’t pushing to run through one of his existing firms. Clearly wants to be head outside advisor, but didn’t seem like he wanted to push others out

In another memo:

“Yup. I’ve talked to him too. Robby is in touch with his team. I see no harm in [Bill Clinton] seeing him.” Flourney replied, “FYI. They are donating the Google plane for the Africa trip.”

If you were actually smart, you'd understand that I am not saying Hillary is responsible for anything.   This entire thread is relative to Google leadership, their clear lib bent at the top, and the sad fact that they've signed on to help the Chinese censor information.

Google is going to end up being regulated like a public utility, and there's going to be some DC panel/commission that decides what information it can distribute. And the libtards are going to love it, because it's the stuff murdering dictators do.

I do like your idea that there is a vast repository of pre-programmed lib friendly functions that can be activated via mouse click. It's just not very feasible.
Title: Re: Huge Libbot Controlled Google . . .
Post by: sonofdaxjones on September 21, 2018, 07:35:07 AM
It really doesn't have anything to do with friendly or unfriendly.   Think about what you've been saying.   Yet reality says that search results are quite literally tweaked at a rate of about 1.5 times a day.  With major overhauls coming about once every year to year and half.

Rendering the possibility of manipulation of results that are either favorable or unfavorable highly possible.

People make a lot of money positioning and repositioning website search rankings based on the changes.  They also make lots of money responding after major changes completely eff up specific business sector or other search results.    Your entire feasibility bent is just LOL able relative to capability, the capability exists with a few clicks of the mouse.

The exact opposite in fact.

The hilarity of it is that Google openly admits that they have the in house horsepower to tweak their algorithms at a rate of nearly twice per day.

They also openly admit that they have the ability to content filter in real time.  To the point that they appear to be saying they'll maintain a search engine to satisfy the censorship demands of China.

 because everyone with a brain knows that most ISP have already said they're not going to block anything, and of course libbots have taken as far as demanding huge Internet access for nothing and also trying to tell ISP's that they can't prioritize traffic.   Prioritization is not censorship . . . only dummies aka LibBots think that.   FFS, if you're accessing the Internet from your work, if you're a big enough entity, your IT department may already be prioritizing the traffic.

But let's get back to the core issue of the thread and the resident LibBot stance that it's just not feasible.

Google:  We alter our algorithms as much as 5-600 times a year.   Resident LibBots:  Algorithm manipulation is not feasible

Google:  We're going to build China a huge censored search engine.   Resident LibBots:  Not feasible

Google basically admits they're in the political censorship business based on paying customer demands.  Resident LibBots:  Not feasible, nothing to be concerned about.

Google:  We're working to help China and their belt and road partners to censor the Internet   LibBots:  This is about Republican paranoia

LibBots:  Net Neutrality is absolutely about Censorship  Smart People:  Not Really

Google Chairman:   I openly volunteered for the Clinton campaign and made it clear that Google resources, assets and my business contacts were made available to the Democratic National Committee and to the Clinton's personally    LibBots:  But that's not rank and file Google and it's Republican paranoia!!

Google:  We change our algorithms 5-600 times a year   LibBots:  It's extremely difficult to change algorithms and it's not feasible

Further proof of the current state of perpetual pivot in LibBot Nation is the fact that they go to battle for an entity that's not only engaged in a massive censorship program for the biggest country in the world (as that country seeks to build a "belt and road" censored Internet across the globe) . . . they're also doing work for a growing defense contractor who is working on CyberDyn System stuff.

But hey, they sold out to The Man a long time ago . . . as long as The Man appears to be anti-Trump.

I only hate the net neutrality nonsense when it comes to trying to tell ISP's where they have to deploy their networks and if they can throttle bandwidth/bandwidth prioritization, that has nothing to do with censorship, dummy.

I already said Google employees can say whatever they want, what's  watching LiBBots then try and tell us that there's no way that will ever impact on how the world's most ubiquitous search engine delivers web content on a free and open web, and that no one should question anything about the company in this area of their business.

The fact that you and resident LibBots see no issue in Google working to censor the web extensively for a country like China is telling.   But, you've sold out, so, it's not surprising.

I'll chalk this up to you just gE'ing and not being a dumbass.

It’s going to be about 70 in the bubble today. The wife and I may go to Home Depot today after work and get some mulch.  Might get a few hydrangeas to plant, not sure yet.

Some day people (like you) will understand that paying attention to guys like that. . who apparently has a 1 hour podcast that’s apparently also on YouTube (FFS, really? A podcast, a rough ridin' podcast?).

Is giving them exactly what they want.

Now that I know who Crowder is (Louder with Crowder?  LOL, really?)  You’ve got guys like Greenwald defending their right to not be censored.

Had everyone just ignored the guy he would have just faded away.

So being woke in this case has now given the guy 1000x more publicity.

Great work
Title: Re: Huge Libbot Controlled Google (MASTER CONSERVATIVES v. TECH/SOCIAL MEDIA THREAD)
Post by: sonofdaxjones on June 09, 2019, 10:29:51 AM
BTW here’s what Greenwald said on Carlson:

More so because I don't want to live in a world where our discourse is policed and determined by benevolent overlords, who runs Silicon Valley companies, you know, who are always going to cater to the most powerful faction. That's what happened here.

———

Now one of the triggered resident useful idiot LibDerps needs to chime in with a “eff Greenwald” to put the cherry on top.

Is forcing social media platforms to accept users that don't follow their guidelines pretty much actual govt censorship as opposed to the private company censorship that dax constantly whines about?

If you don't believe this isn't almost entirely one sided then you're a bigger idiot than I know you already are.

I absolutely believe one side tends to be more racist and sexist and homophobic, which is pretty obvious that private companies generally don't want to associate with.

Common ground!

Realizing of course that we're dealing with people who immediately define anyone who disagrees with them as:  racist, sexist and homophobic

We're always willing to engage anyone about anything . . . as long as they agree with us (LibDerp Nation)

LibDerp Nation Favorite Twitter:  Shadow banning conservatives for making a mean comment . . . perfectly willing to provide a continuous platform (from the "religion of peace" for example) for the most misogynistic and anti-LGBT entities on the planet.

We support violent anti-Gay misogynists as long as mean talking 'Pubs are banned . . . LibDerp Nation

There's two sets of "they" Captain Cryptic.

Hamas, Martyrs Brigade (although may have finally been banned), Iranians who attempt to fall under the Twitter rule of "leaders", people like Zahra Billoo.

Even Jack Dorsey admits that they are not fair, and that the culture inside his company is one where more conservative leaning employees pretty much keep their thoughts to themselves for fear of reprisal.

I'm not mad about anything I'm  at how  :curse: you guys get whenever this topic comes up.   It's like this amazing little bubble.   But hey Twitter is predominately leftist and you guy circle the wagons and out group think everyone by miles.

Twitter also admitted to changes their search algo's to lesson the reach of more conservative Tweeters.

Twitter never suspended Farrakhan for his hate speech, yet has suspended people who speak out against violent Islamic fundamentalists.

They banned the AOC parody account . . . I mean

But people like Lou Farrakhan can keep right on calling Jews "termites".

They banned Meghan Murphy for "misgendering" but Iranian leaders under the "leadership" policy can talk about wiping Israel off the face of the earth.
