TITLETOWN - A Decade Long Celebration Of The Greatest Achievement In College Athletics History => Kansas State Basketball is hard => Topic started by: OregonSmock on December 02, 2010, 11:32:26 AM

Confirmed by Jay Bilas:
• I learned that national player of the year is even more wide open this season than it was in 2009-10. Again, there is not a truly dominant player. The early candidates are Walker, Duke's Kyle Singler and Kansas' Marcus Morris. Walker has been the best player to this point in the season. But it is still really, really early.
• I learned that Morris is one of the most improved players in the country, but he may not be the most improved player in his own family. Marcus is really versatile and can play anywhere on the floor for Bill Self. But, Markieff Morris has become an impact player who is the better rebounder than his twin brother. And Markieff can step away and hit a trail 3. Both of those guys are pros.

Congrats Beems

Its cute how you constantly compare your team to ours

Awesome Stuff Beems . . . :driving:
Just Curious, does Mrs. Morris still work for Doug Compton??
-
I liked them better when they were shooting people in the face and getting caught with middle school girls at 2:00 in the morning.
-
KU hasn't had a big man duo this versatile since Collison/Gooden.
-
KU's big men have sucked since Collison/Gooden.
Which one is the Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) looking Morris? That guy is pretty good.

and you have a better Dwight Howard coming off the bench. Congrats.
-
Glad to know that we are the yardstick that you measure success by.
-
Excellent BBSing, BMW. Excellent. You must have worked on your game during your absense.
-
Looks like Manning has used his incredible molding ability to mold yet another quality big man from the 4* hunk of crap he was handed.
Danny Manning coaching up the bigs.

Many of us did forget this because we've been told by our friends to the East that he, chubs and X aren't missed. That you guys are even better this year and gel like lemon jello.

Beems having some more wet dreams.

Don't the Morris Twins have abnormally short arms. Like a T-Rex.

Mc. Morris >>> Jake Pullen at what?
-
Odd that Bilas would omit Irving.
-
I feel privileged to live in the era of BBS'ing in which Beems resides. BITB
-
Odd that Bilas would omit Irving.
not really, bilas goes out of his way to appear impartial.
-
A simple test in literacy for both would disprove the title of this thread.

This is true.
After the game Irving put up last night, I feel less shitty about what he did to us.

Good job BMWjayhawk.

The right inward-turned eye allows this Morris twin to look inside while playing outside. Head fakes won't work on a player like this.

Morris' stats look better because the level of competition isn't quite what Pullen has faced.
-
Mc. Morris >>> Jake Pullen at what?
Practically everything.
Mc. Morris - 19.0 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 2.0 assist/to ratio, 67.7% fg, 61.5% 3-pt
Jake Pullen - 16.0 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1.71 assist/to ratio, 42.4% fg, 38.1% 3-pt

Seriously, goldenticket. BSAC's got better things to do.
-
KU is a real up and coming team, a lot of people starting to realize they've got a team way out there east of Manhattan. I honestly think KU has a chance at stealing one from the Cats this year.

Get the banner design to Kinkos

If Morris can stay out of jail, he will be good.

Those up-and-comers from quaint Lawrence, KS are planning to remind people that they still play basketball at Kansas and build on last year's second round showing in the big dance. Native son Brody Manningham looks to anchor a backcourt that may well lead the nation in hustle points. (Though not in style points.) The McMorris Triplets are out to prove that heart trumps talent when it comes to games in December and that their mother made the right decision 20 yrs ago. John Selby hopes to finally break the Self-inflicted NBA curse and prove that one-and-done talent can, indeed, find Lawrence on a map. And rest assured that Coach Self intends to make waves in the Big 12 North before he takes over the reins to the Oklahoma State program in the spring. Another fine basketball season is underway at Kansas and fans are encouraged to stop by the historic fieldhouse and check out a game this year! (Deeply discounted tockets are widely available at your local grocery and convenience stores.)

Morris loves jail.

LOL at comparing a PF to a PG, especially when said PF hasn't played anyone worth a crap.

Not changing tonight. UCLA looks brutal.
Announcers mocking how low skill Howland's backcourt is.

In other words, you have to knock the king out of his thrown.
 What a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). Even piss-yourself-drunk Mike DeArmond doesn't make mistakes like that.
