Title: Manscaping
Post by: fun muffin on January 11, 2023, 10:23:04 AM
Any recommendations on body hair removal? specifically keeping my nether regions looking clean.  Time to get rid of the jumanji pubes.

I've never been much of a manscaper but it's time to clean up.

Don't buy one of those dumbass $100 groomers, like manscaped. If you have an outlet in your bathroom, a $15 pair of clippers from Target or Walmart works perfectly. I use clippers and I shave, depending on what's needed.

Just borrow your wife’s razor and shaving stuff from the shower.

IIRC there was a junk shaving thread over on the old site.  Time is a flat circle.

Only shave the jewels, not the bush, just use trimmer for that or else you'll hate your existence

Congrats on being recently single (apparently).

I use clippers first on the bush, then shave. You need to find a better moisturizer

I haven't hit puberty yet, so I can't really opine. I mostly agree with MIR, but I would also recommend carving your initials up there, like I do. Er, would.

I am extraordinarily hirsute (you will note my top tier advice in prior threads). I figure it's the price I pay for a lifetime of full thick dark hair on my dome. As an update I currently employ the following for back, shoulders, etc. It has a sweet handle to make it easy:

https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-Bodygroom-Showerproof-Attachment/dp/B09MZXFJ8N?th=1

I also keep one of these bad ladies in the shower. Stole this signature move from mrs. dave. Bros, it's a razor built for the ladies. I know. Trust me in that it is THE premier ball razor on the market. none of the battle axe 14 blade diesel dude razors you can buy can compare. suck it up and get this thing for your entire PRIVATE area.

https://www.amazon.com/Gillette-Venus-Intimate-Grooming-Refills/dp/B08JHVDNY1?th=1

Finally I will occasionally have mrs. dave employ wax on the shoulders and back. Despite viral videos you see it doesn't hurt at all. Like, barely anything. Keeps it clean for a lot longer for like week long vacations and stuff. Have never paid the pros to do it but may at some point.

Yes, those lady razors are great for the ball and taint area, and for shaft sideburns.

Yeah, just make sure to wash it off afterwards, so your partner doesn't know.

I have named mine and I would like to thank Spracne, as I will now carve "male genitals a doodle do" on those jewels.  ;)

I checked the one my wife leaves in the shower today. Yep, Venus. They also have this little gel strip or whatever that helps the smoothness. Saw another tip in the ksufans archives that I agree w as well, which is to use conditioner rather than shaving cream or soap.

It was one of their daily deals, I got distracted right after I replied to okcat and forgot to buy it. It’ll come back around, just like the polka dot vacuum.
