Since it's going nationwide, I'm surprised it isn't sponsored by Krogers...maybe if it were on ESPN they would.

LHC Bill Snyder with a giant word bubble saying "That's MY Dillon's" and probably holding a cup of coffee or a chain of link sausage, IMO.

Amazing promotional idea.

Would be even better if they tied it to the number of delay of game penalties.  10% off for each of them on regularly priced Russell Stovers (another KS company, but huge KU boosters) hard-candy.

Since leaving the old board, I had not signed up for the new acct here, and have been lurking as a guest. Now that my local Dillons has made the board, I have been forced to sign up and represent St John. Oh, and for the person that said it's the only thing in town, you're mistaken, we are now the proud owners of a dollar general as well. REPRESENT!! :pbj: :jerk:

just about any company would be better than dillion's sponsoring the game.

"hey folks, welcome back to the Dillion's salad bar halftime report, I'm JB Bauersfeld and we have a lot of first half highlights to cover but first- have you seen how fresh the lettuce is at the Westloop Dillions salad bar? fantastic, let's check out those highlights!"

I think that is a pretty strong argument FOR dillons being the best and most kansasy of all possible sponsors :dunno:

Dude, did you know that Bauersfeld's old man used to own a grocery store in Topeka that competed fiercely (and unsuccessfully) with Dillons?  This is going to be a very awkward situation during the broadcast.

Shout out to the Top City Dillon's at 29th and California...where us Berrytoners would frequent. woot

Worked at that bitch in high school. Saul, the 29th and Urish Dillons is very elite. Love(d) the Topeka/Kansas mural crap on the walls (If it's still there).
