isn't it all just like a big warehouse or something with tires and chinup bars? I don't get it. kind of maybe seems like an excuse for a bunch of roided up pervs to put on short shorts and lift heavy things around other roided up short short wearing pervs. do people pay money to go or do they all just find each other in a chatroom and then track down an abandoned warehouse and squat on it?

Can confirm a girl I always though was cute, but a little chubby in college, looks amazing now. However, I hate hearing her talk about it. Sounds coltish.

I don't remember the name, but she was mainly at kathouse but filled in at station some.

Sometimes I saw groups of people running around city park with bench press weights over their heads, I think that is crossfit too

The amount of injuries in crossfit is pretty impressive. It's like form is actually important when you exercise and stuff.

Why would I do that?
I will say though, that I am pickup basketball guy. I like to ask people about games and their funny stories and probably talk all day about playing pickup.

I think I've been doing it for 4 or 5 years :D but def. agree with most of what is being said.. The crazy about it crossfit people use to drive me crazy but then I figured if they're going to be passionate and obsessed about something it might as well be exercise.

is it just lifting heavy weird crap or is there more to it? like, can I just crossfit in my living room by picking up my couches and then go outside and climb up my gutters?

Lift your couch 12 reps, climb the gutters 1 rep, 20 push ups. Do as many times through as you can in 20 min. Post your reps on twitter. WOD name is going to be Rhonda, or something.

yeah that's the jest.. suppose to be constantly varied movements at high intensity. So numerous things could fall under that spectrum

Back Squat
*Set 1 – 5 reps @ 60% of 1RM

*Set 3 – 3 reps @ 75%

Back Squat x 6 reps @ 85% of today’s heaviest triple
3 Rounds for time of:
21 Wall Balls (20/14#) (10/9?)
15 Overhead Squats (115/75#)
9 Power Snatches (115/75#)
this was the last workout I did.
Walls at our gym are gray with a purple line all the way across to mark the 10ft wall ball line

Your wife is going to get so caught up in how many reps she can do that you will probably come home one day and she will have already painted them.
