Has the John Currie Traject-O-Meter been turned off?
That thing really bit Deb Patterson in the backside, and several others likely got pushed out the door because of the Traject-O-Meter. But now I wonder if the JCTOM has been shelved for Currie hires.

Last year: no post season

I think your trend o meter is broken

currie hasn't fired a coach that he hired and that's not going to change until someone* makes him
*money person, not his boss. i'm sure schulz loves oscar. they seem like similar types of downgrades.

What happens if those don't? :Wha:
They will, oscar is good at finding ways to survive
-
Being stuck with a dipcrap coach that has a ceiling of 20 wins is depressing as crap :buh-bye:
-
KSU doesn't want you as a fan
-
Poor Oscar. No one besides me and Megan still like him.
You guys forget. He wins sometimes.
Siu before Oscar: 14-18.
Oscar: 15-12
20-13
16-14
28-8
24-7
And not just a flash in the pan. Good for several years while he was busy screwing up my program.

16-15 (5-13) probably isn't getting us in the CBA or any other garbage thing either

Winning record and we can buy our way in. Some seem convinced Currie will do this.

This year: CBI
Next year: NIT
Year after that: Unexpected roster departures so acceptable NIT (they will do better than expected!)
oscar will be here as long as he wants.

To make the NIT, we will need three more wins. TCU on senior day, OSU in the 8/9 game in KC, and one other. We are 3-4 at home and only 1-6 on the road. Therefore, our best chance for making the NIT comes if we upset Texas at home on Monday because I don't see us winning in Ames or Lubbock. Lose to Texas and we're sitting at home for the postseason. Again. Do you really feel that confident we'll beat Texas and TCU and OSU?
-
i didn't realize we played a game on monday, very exciting. not big monday, mind you. but mini junior monday.

My confidence issue is only with Texas. I think we will win the other 2, but we probably must beat someone other than TCU and OSU to make the NIT.
I don't think we'll accept a pay to play tournament bid.
-
I think people are forgetting that this was a tournament team until Stokes went down. oscar can't control injuries.
-
We are 3-4 at home.
wow. the ut game is for a winning conf home record then. i hope the players are made aware. i'm sure they'd play very hard to protect their house, if they knew.
-

they are forgetting that. smdh, chingon.

CBI entrance fee is a small price to pay to be able to tell the Family that oscar got our wildcats to the postseason

They weren't practicing the 30 second dribble out for KU. I can tell you that much.
-
If we qualify for the CBI, bet the farm that John Currie will pay the entrance fee. He will plaster that crap all over e-mails, mailers, and other propaganda as well: "Postseason in three out of four years for Head Coach oscar Weber."
-
There's hope in that history suggests Currie's tenure as AD should soon be over:
Ernie Barrett, 1969-75
Johny Jermier, 1976-77
DeLoss Dodd, 1978-81
Dick Towers, 1981-85
Larry Travis, 1985-91
Milt Richards, 1991-93
Max Ulrick, 1993-2001
Tim Weisner, 2001-08
Bob Krause, 2008-09
John Currie, 2009-present

mumped up when typing. Makes an even stronger case that Currie is about at the end of this tenure.

Perhaps Curriestan can take his talents to Nike.

I realized that a loss tomorrow guarantees a 4-5 (at best) home conference record, our worst since Wooly went 2-6 in his first year in 2001. :frown:

the big 12 is so rugged, just a meat grinder. And playing on Big Monday after just a day of rest what can you expect...

It is a post season tournament that teams that did not make the NCAA get invites to.
-
It's on the ESPN family of networks, most years it gets better ratings than the NCAA tournament. #brand #family
