Has as many pussy ass , blame someone else, liberal crybaby, don't hold a KID getting a FREE education responsible for his god damn actions to a multi-million dollar business, big time program has this many lost in the haze fans as we do?
PLEASE go to ku!
WE are K-STATE! WE have principles that that flaw-on-the-kaw piece of crap university can not even understand.
EVERY one of you that think Foster should get a free pass after what that kid has done to our university and TEAM, witch he does not understand the meaning of, should just go F a GOAT!
Peace out mother f'ers.

Well said.

Yeah. It's pretty shitty outside our bubble. we are the early adopters that created a refurbished high end block of houses that is still surrounded by a shattered city.

Nothing says intelligent like tossing liberal in as a slur.

We have to appreciate the unselfish play and the no quit attitude. I still hold my position on foster and he should transfer. At least we r competing and on the road had a chance to win against a top 25 team. I believe weber is doing everything he is capable of. He can't control missed free throws and missed lay ups.
Joe Wilson
marcus foster...please transfer.
*asked why*
Joe Wilson
where would you like me to start?
Joe Wilson
lack of leadership? no defense? lack of offense?
Robert Alan Spencer
Football is whare Kstate is more good at then
Luke Mcvicker
All you haters know nothing whst goes on. Weber has had one bad year give guy a break . Yes its been a bad year if he has another bad year then fine. But come on have some sense. Weber is way better then Altman Wooldridge asbury teams put together
Max Arthur Johnson
I wish Foster and Coach Weber would settle the problem and get him back on the court. We aren't going to any post season at this rate.
Names redacted for people who don't need public shaming
"oscar Weber is a great coach."-Brian Williams

I always think that I can't be more disgusted with our fans then immediately get proved wrong upon opening my twitter.

Depressing. Has the holier than thou, liberal-bashing, KU-bashing element of the K-State fanbase grown in the past few years, or does it just seem like it, and it's actually been that way for quite a while now?

They are just coming back out of their closet now that our success is waning. It's easier to focus on that crap when you don't want to focus on what is happening on the court.

Where's the quote where you compare KU to Notre Dame? I mean, i've missed ya, but i'm starting to wonder if something happened to you. Like what happened to drew barrymore in 50 first dates. I don't want to dig through all your posts on the phog right now. :dunno:

I really don't think that KSU fans are less liberal on balance. The stupid KSU fans don't understand that there are large segments of wealthy KU fans that are in lock step agreement with them on hating all things liberal....and because of this ignorance they have the false perception that KU supporters are liberal.
I'd argue the KU, Williams Fund donors may be one of the most staunchly homogeneous conservative groups in the country.

That's all very true. I'm not even arguing which fanbase is more liberal. I've just noticed that some of the rhetoric from K-State fans has a very hateful, anti-liberal, anti-Lawrence, political element to it. I don't see the same type of rhetoric from KU fans, but hey, maybe I just haven't noticed it.

And FWIW, Kevin Harlan (stud KU alum) agrees with me when it comes to KU being a sleeping giant. We're within close proximity to KC, we've got a beautiful campus, a top 50 public research institution, good facilities, and we're located in a pretty great college town. KU basketball is the 2nd-most valuable basketball program in the country and has a huge, national fanbase. If the football program ever got its crap together, we'd be top 10 in the country in overall athletic revenue. We saw it back in 2007/2008.
As for Notre Dame, this isn't 1974. Every big-time football program is on national television these days. Notre Dame obviously has a huge fanbase and is more of a hot commodity in realignment because of its status as a traditional football power, but the gap isn't as wide as you would like to believe. Tim Grunhard has talked about the decline of Notre Dame in detail on 810 radio. Their status has really taken a significant hit in the past few years by not being tied to a P5 conference, and certain traditions are being questioned due to growing concerns over the program's relevancy.
-
I think you meant for that to go in the ku football thread?

Beems and Kevin Harlan have their fingers on the pulse of ku's hypothetical success

Kansas
? Operating revenue: $97.681 million
? Operating expenses: $90.057 million
? Operating profit: $7.625 million
Unlike most athletic departments, KU made more money after expenses from men’s basketball ($9.774 million) than it did from football ($8.333 million) in fiscal year 2014.

Like I said, if football ever got its crap together, KU would have one of the top 10 athletic budgets in the country. Hence, sleeping giant.

No, Wacky and ednksu brought it up for some reason.

Yup. KU fans don't envision themselves elite at all.

Well, if Tim Grunhard said it, it's gotta be true.

Kevin Harlan is a well-respected sports broadcaster, and Tim Grunhard graduated from Notre Dame and knows quite a bit about their program. Great points, though, Wacky. Those ad hominem fallacies are always clutch.
-
It was funny to me last night, and that's all that matters. If it'll be better for this whole thing to be merged into the ku football thread now, that's fine.

Thanks for their backgrounds, dumbass. Are you seriously trying to ignore the fact of how much crap you talk on K-State and are you seriously trying to say you hate K-State fans that hate you guys cause of your elitist attitudes and then you compare yourself to Notre Dame and that's not delusional? Phew. I need a breath.

Someone dig up ND's rape #'s so we can get a fair comparo here

I've the heard the words, "sleep giant" and "ku football" used in the same sentence for decades now. There's a reason why its been 47 years since ku won a conference title in football.
2014 Basketball Revenue:
UNC $20.9 million
Louisville $40.9 million
Kentucky $23.6 million
Syracuse $29.7 million
Kansas $18.2 million
Duke $27 million
Ohio State $21.3 million
Indiana $21.9 million
Wisconsin $19.3 million
2nd most valuable basketball program?
-
Sleeping Giant implies that it was once an awake giant and then took a nap and could then be awakened. Like, Michigan, Texas, Miami, Florida would be sleeping giants. ku is more like a 90 lb accountant who I guess could be a giant if you gave him like a ton of steroids and muscle transplants and stuff

Kansas wasn't always a top financial power, but the team now bests even Louisville in some categories, such as ticket sales ($12.9 million). The Jayhawks are one of just two Big 12 teams on our list; the other, Texas, is at No. 16.
