Edgar Poe drew his inspiration from the city.

Isn't Hannibal Lector from Baltimore. I guess the author wanted to make it realistic.
-
I watched some documentary where they hide murdered bodies in row houses and the cops just let them sell as many drugs as they want as long as it's in a certain part of town.

the combination you described is actually better than Baltimore substituting for Lawrence.

Ugly women. Woof! Did you see the gals, creatures or whatever that were wearing Ray Rice jerseys in a show of support?

Baltimore has no conscience. Nothing matters to them.

:surprised:
In 2011, Baltimore police reported 196 homicides, the lowest number of slayings in the city since a count of 197 homicides in 1978 and far lower than the peak homicide count of 353 slayings in 1993. The drop was significant, but the homicide rate was in the same range the city saw in the mid 1980s, when the city had another 130,000 residents. City leaders credited a sustained focus on repeat violent offenders and increased community engagement for the continued drop, reflecting a nationwide decline in crime. However, Baltimore's decline was short-lived as a reported 235 homicides were committed in 2013. Baltimore's jump in homicides in 2013 defied regional and national trends. Nearly all major U.S. cities recorded fewer murders in 2013, leaving Baltimore, Newark, Washington, and Indianapolis the only cities that had an increase.
In 2013 Baltimore's murder rate was 37.9 per 100,000 residents.[citation needed] Since 2010, Baltimore has seen decrease in overall violent crimes but the homicide rate increased by 7.3% in 2013 making Baltimore one of the most dangerous major U.S. Cities.
Baltimore's level of violent crime is much higher than the national average. In 2009, a total of 1,318,398 violent crimes were reported nationwide across the United States, equivalent to a rate of 0.4 incidents per 100 people.

Baltimore is the worst. It ranks right up there with St. Louis.

10,000 murders a year sounds about right for that shithole.
Does our team take an armored bus to the game? Wear Kevlar around the hotel? Our team is much to dreamy to have to worry about getting shot by all those jealous ugos.

I traveled to Baltimore a few times. The first time, I left the hotel looking around and site seeing on the first night.
Every subsequent time, I ate at the hotel and took the shuttle to the client site. Easily the worst city I've ever been to, and I'm not goEMAWing, here.
-
And this includes the time I saw a pimp sell his lady on a street corner in Miami while straddling one of those beach bicycles.
