time has passed him by
-
you might be right
-
Put his old ass in a home today
-
You don't deserve his wrinkly, droopy scrotum. I can't believe this blog...
-
Disagree. However, Fat Ass Mangino does have his number. He's like The Fonz in The Waterboy.
-
Bill needs to can the D coordinator.
-
bill has handed over too much responsibility imo.
i hate our defense. we never play aggressive. it's stupid. the best defense in the world is up in people's grill. we play 12 yards off the ball every effing play.
-
Seriously, how is it that people fall into this anti-Snyder rhetoric? It's effing shameful.

This is his shitty team, idiot
-
One half he is an old fart. Next half he is an old fox. I think a pride factor and the kids love for the "ol gaffer made the differnce; they did not quit. Rhodes proved to be the ignorant coach spiking the ball at the end, and killing us off. Someone gave Jake a bottle of Klein Juice. Snyder needs to have the trainers give RBs and Defense some.

Nice thread, dork stores.
-
You'll drink your jug o' Snyder and you'll ask for a refill, JFC the nerve of some folks...

how did the phog handle the loss? I moved all day.

That's telling KC, Fannings!!
Tell kc this board has passed him/her by!! :shakesfist:
-
I love Snyder but he is not the same win at any cost coach he was in the nineties. He's changed and it's evident in the players he plays and the amount of the decision making he allows the assistants to make

Mack just called our guy the 'old master'
-
I love Mack. I wish there was some way Snyder could get him on the sidelines here.

"I’ve got a tape recorder and two (memory) cards full of mistakes," K-State coach LHC Bill Snyder said.
Sounds like the ol' wild Bill, I know.

So 2012 was not win at all cost? Confused.

Nope. Klein as a battering ram was the only thing we could do. He had no other option.

To me, it's also evident in terms of team culture, things like the emphasis on family and guys earning it (of course he's always said that but now it's part of our brand) and not offering scholarships to murderers, killing Klein when he got sketti'd, or starting accused rapists in bowl games. Obviously there are exceptions - offering Boyd and then pretending like we didn't after his arrest. I am certain that Snyder wants to win, stupid to say otherwise, I'm just saying maybe MBC is right that Snyder's trying to do it in a slightly different way now that he's older and his legacy is cemented.
He's doing it differently because the culture has changed. The rest of college football has caught up so he has to improvise again. He can't do it the old way because it won't work.

He's doing it differently because his personality has changed. It's pretty easy to see and that isn't bashing him that's just accepting reality.

If K-State didn't make the adjustments at halftime, when they were getting manhandled before halftime, then yeah, perhaps so.
But man, whoever said that the game has passed him, just got flat out out-schemed by Snyd.

I feel he HAS to recruit different players. That the college football landscape is much more competitive. He HAS to take a simpler approach because the old tricks and gimmicks aren't new anymore.
I agree that he has given assistants more power, but I'm not sure what you mean by, "it's evident in the players he plays." He's always played the guys who know the system best. Players from the first championship team have mentioned how the most talented players didn't always play. It's because the inferior athletes knew his system better and knew where to be at all times. Just like today with Will Davis, and Jonathan Truman this year and last.
-
8-1 in our last nine and these guys are still complaining. Same dorks that were crying just before we went 21-5 in '11 and '12....
....and some of our best talent DNP today!!!

I need someone to explain to me why our front seven is the slowest and most un-athletic it's been in years if it's not Snyder. And why we are so hard up for skill players.

A LOT more schools recruit Texas now.

This'll change quickly. Our most athletic front seven players are still riding the pine, but Snyder is no idiot. Those guys will be on the field once they catch on. May even see this a bit v. Auburn. Will definitely see it later in season.

Disagree. However, Fat Ass Mangino does have his number. He's like The Fonz in The Waterboy.
Where are you dorks getting this? Snyder is 4-1 against Mangino. Forget about MM's couple of years as OC in Norman

I'll reiterate my earlier post in another thread: snyder is getting them ready for Auburn and they've had dead legs the first two weeks. They'll be ready.
