Somebody explain this to me. What are the rules on building athletic housing facilities. I know Kentucky has a sick setup. Now, KU is building a $17mil pad over by AFH.

I'll confess, I was a creeper (I know, sad) and went and looked at some addresses of several of our b-ball players and they both had Jardine addresses. If they're living in the new ones, decent apts, a few hundred yards from the BTF, and easy access to the sports nutrition center in the WSC.

I am pretty sure one of our players lived in one of those off campus apartments south east of Haymaker Hall. I always saw Martavious, Shane, and Rodney coming out of there, or walking towards the derb from that direction.

This guy gets it. Even if they have donors pay for it (which apparently they don't have enough money for that) it means that tax payers have to pay for more of their dorm expansions. (Even though enrollment has been down for the last few years).
Are they trying to bankrupt themselves and drive all the students away?

I would love for some from KU to explain to me how a dorm for athletes with 66 rooms can create revenue. Will there be monthly bake sales? Do the weed dealers that will become regulars here have to pay some sort of tax?

Any idea if there will be a Walmart electronics section in the dorms? Also, I feel like organized, informational courses on how to not get stabbed would be beneficial. Paul Pierce can stop by sometimes, when he's in not busy cruising around in his Bentley. :driving:

Fixed em. They're about 20 feet high now. Could make them taller but don't think they are athletic enough to climb that much anyways.
