If he has time to walk his own dogs, mow his own yard, etc then he isn't a hard worker by D1 coach standards.

The problem is oscar won too much too soon.

Also, oscar told the players over the summer No. Colorado would be a tough team but they didn't take him seriously.

goEMAW has officially kicked our sorry, Illini asses for first place in the misfortunate yet necessary category of Sardonic Weberizing.

whoa left field comment there
oscar is our commander in chief and the man with the plan, i can almost guarantee you he will not lose to northern colorado again this season.  and that very point alone makes the B-Man a quality coach and the right man for the job.  A++ ebayer

oscar is telling the team that every game from here on out is going to be a tough game.  If the ksu go purple cats don't win every game from here on out, it's their fault - not his.  He warned them.

All aboard the Weber train!

oscar, learning from his mistakes at UI, is obviously now shifted from coaching not to lose to coaching to build a culture of toughness.  It may not materialize any time soon, but eventually this will all pay off.

I see no evidence of this.
