I remember the AG went after the dicks that started gouging.  Woods Oil was one in particular who got really scorched.

Facebook is great. I'm especially loving the thoughts from a former co-worker in rural Alabama on how 9-11 has affected her deeply.

i was working at UVA at the time and can still remember hearing the rush of ambulances outside of my office window. the fearless first responders on their way to help victims from the attack on the pentagon.

it is safe to say that i will never forget or mis-remember the events of 9/11.

I remember just being relieved I didn't need gas that day. I was driving an old truck that I had to fill up about twice per week at the time, and it would have been a huge bummer waiting on all of the hicks trying to drain the pump just so I could get home.

It's crazy to think that kids in college today have very little to no memory of September 11, 2001. I guess that explains the snarky jokes. You guys, it's like so cool to make sarcastic jokes about 9/11!

I think this is more about the housewife in Centralia who has to post on FB how she is remembering 9/11.  And having no memory of the actual event.

Agreed, that's what mocking others' grief/remembrance is about.

I was on a bus heading towards Yellowstone with a bunch of kids from Maryland. It was a very weird thing because I had to give a speech to the kids from Maryland, and the TV was on. It was before the second plane hit and I had done a report on the 1993 basement bombings there like a year before. I remember looking at the towers and really not knowing what was going on, but I said "Well looks like they got bombed again", then they turned off the tv and I gave my speech.

True story

I will never forget exactly where I was and what I was doing when that happened. The effects of that day have had a profound impact on the course of my life. I will never forget the friends I've lost along the way after that day because of the events that have transpired since. And I will never make light of anybody expressing their feelings on how those events affected their lives.
