Imagine their Holiday Card.

I thought the Weber family holiday card was nice this year.

_33 seems inspired by Lebron's performance last night. Really stepping up his game.

After looking again, she looks almost identical to a girl I dated back in college.  Weird.

Imagine the pool parties.

The little Doug's running up and wanting you too watch them dive in, or go down the slide, and Doug playing along for awhile.   Misses Doug rolling out of the sliding glass door with a pitcher of Marg's, and some snacks.

What do you guys think the snacks would be?

We're off to a good start.

I was thinking non trans fat Pita Chips with Sea Salt and fresh salsa from the local upscale market.

I could see after awhile that Doug would clear the pool for the adult swim, while mom has the kids up to the kids table for a lunch of organic turkey sandwiches on fresh bread with organic carrot sticks.

Doug would have to fend off multiple requests by the Dougettes to return to the pool with the old, "Have to wait 30 minutes" routine.

Gottlieb just comforted his crying son on live air on 810. "Where's your turtle? Where's your turtle? You're gonna get a good nap in aren't you?"

Unbelievable.

They had to end the interview early because Gottlieb was being too good of a father to his upset son.

Uh, I've seen Weber's family cry too and him comfort them with some chicken nuggets.  We're fine.

It was wonderful.  Don't forget that, as usual, he spent at least 3 or 4 minutes gushing over EMAW, but to top it off with that adorable display...

our lives could have been so different, our lives could have been so different...

He does bring-your-kid-to-work days on the days he gets fired.

I can see now the scene of him and the fam standing in front of the KSTATEO "click it or ticket" purple* backdrop with the wife and kids bawling their eyes out.

Kid: My daddy died in a car accident.  This is my uncle.

I can't stop laughing.

I think I may actually send that this year as my Christmas Card (I never send them, but I think the time is now).

He has great feel and timing on his hugs though.  Almost never misreads the situation and goes in for one at the wrong moment.
