Post by: pissclams on May 11, 2012, 01:42:23 PM
fill in your comments, i'll compile this thread and make sure it gets to oscar.

oscar weber,
welcome to the ksu brotherhood.  you are now a wildcat for life!  once you wear the powercat, it never comes off.  hopefully the animal and adjc have already put you through the hazing (just kidding lol).  we are a fiercely loyal bunch so if you ever need anyone to get your back, don't worry because it's already covered.  enjoy your first summer in mhk and check out the new dillons while you're at it, omg amirite? we'll talk hoops later, for now i just need you to get settled into your new "nest" at the OOD.

also, i'm going to nickname your offices at the OOD, "oscar's nest" and yes that includes the asst coaches offices since you're their overlord.

I like good basketball, so please be a good basketball coach while at K-State. Learn from your mistakes at Illinois. If you are going to run the motion, get some shooters. And please let Rodney, Tay, and JO end their careers well, a Sweet 16 (or Elite 8 :crossfingers:) would be nice.

I also like frozen chicken nuggets and ice cream. I am sorry that Shakes closed down before you arrived in Manhattan.

Sincerely,

oscar-

I am an extremely conflicted person because of you. On one hand I love to see my Wildcats win basketball games, these past 5 years have been a wonderful suprise and something I never saw coming. On the other hand I melted down hard when you were hired, like really hard.

There are 3 directions we can go from here, Listed with the most favorable outcome first.

1. Cats continue to win, I am happy they win but look Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) for melting down when you were hired.
2. You fail quickly and are fired, I am pissed at what Cats bball has become but look and smell great since I called it from the outset.
3. 10 years of average to below average bball. You do just enough to hang around for 10 years and we slowly forget about bball.

Choose wisely,

Ben Ji

P.S. Have you been to the waterpark yet? IT HAS A SURFING AREA!

Dear oscar Webber,

I had my doubts about hiring you. That being said, I'm a K-State fan and K-Staters stick together. Even K-Staters who just joined the family. Which is why my newborn son and I hate you and will never forgive you for this.

Herr Veber:

Feel free to have facilities create a "oscar's nest of doom" door placard.  In fact get one for each of your staffers too, but maybe put their name on it to make them feel special, but make sure the lettering for their names is smaller than that of "oscar's nest of doom" so they don't forget who is number one: you are.

Hi oscar,

Welcome to Manhattan.  I think it is great that you are such a "salt of the earth" type.  I mow my own lawn too, except it is pretty big and it get really hot in the summer.  Do you think you could come over and mow it for me? It is also neat that you are the type of guy that isn't above picking up your own fast food. JJ's delivers though oscar, and they do it really fast.  Maybe next time have them drop it off at the office so you can spend more time teaching players how to do dribbling tricks and dunk shots. I like it when our players are good at that stuff.

A friend forever,

Nicname

p.s. - Hope you win lots of games.

p.s.s - Especially in 2013-14

Go ahead and hire out the lawn. You got better crap to do.

Most Sincerely,

PS: Please win a lot as that will make me happy.

Dear oscar,

I kind of liked it when you mispronounced Ernie Barret's name.  If you could mispronounce others' names a few times over your tenure I think that would be just sublime.  Don't do it that often though - it would be too obvious.  But maybe drop a "Martavious Erwin" this December or something.  My friends and I would think it was so funny and it would show people that you have a really developed sense of humor.  And that's a good quality to have.

Sincerely,

Dlew

PS: El Tapatillo is a great Mexican restaurant in town.  It's really big so there's hardly ever a wait, even on graduation weekend.  It's a little of MHK's "beaten (beatin'???) path," but sometimes those are the best places!  Sorry that's kind of random lol.

Stan: Coach a great game tonight by your ballclub tonight.  It really seemed like your guards did a great job of defending and also knocked down some key shots.

oscar: They really did Stan.  I thought we defended the perimeter well.  Martin Irvine was really great out there.  He just really played tough on their guards.  He has such a great body.

Dear Brucey oscar oscar:

I loved seeing you leave Jimmy Johns as I was leaving Johnny Kaws after the Sporting KC game. I thought it was cool you talked to us and were swagged out in K-State gear. I do not like that you told me Josh Gray was going to be in purple and then he wasn't. But its okay I forgive you. I am sorry about me and my friends breaking that sink, that wasn't very cool, but we were in full fledged burn it down mode. If you and your assistants want to hang out and have a BBQ contact me. I have a new smoker at my place in Manhattan. Please bring your own beer since I am still just 20 and can't buy it myself.

oscar,

I'm sure you have heard from your handlers that I hate you, but please let me clear this up.  I don't hate you, in fact, you seem like a great guy.  I do, however, hate your boss and the fact that he hired you, as I think you are a shitty coach and within a few years are going to return our program to the bottom of the conference.  I'm sure that doesn't make you feel much better, but I just wanted you to know it's nothing personal.

All the best,
BMC

I was really mad when you got hired. I have to be honest, it's true. Not anymore.  I say down and thought about it for a while. You mow grass, much like me. You like frozen chicken nuggets. I love it too.  You seem to like basketball...I love it. You and I are bros for life already and we haven't met.  Me and the boys are going to be playing cards tomorrow, if you like Cards. Who am I kidding...you love cards. I'll bring the bean dip, you bring the chips. You know what kind of chips already don't you? I think we are going to be best friends forever.

Job was a Commie turncoat whose uncle, Erwin, unsuccessfully sought to assassinate and overthrow oscar...I mean Hitler.  What does that analogize to here?  Sys becomes a Mizzou fan after the ouster of Weber fails which Sys denies any part in, and when Weber is finally defeated, KSU hires a Mizzou assistant as HC, so Sys finds a home again as a Cat's fan?  That's too complicated.

Dear oscar,

You can't coach at a high level and proved it at Illinois. Currie hired you because he didn't/doesn't have the balls to make a risky hire. He's liar and a pussy. Suffice it to say, I don't want you here, I don't want Currie here, and if you could go ahead and implode as quickly as possible it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
