Had this at the K last night, forgot how delicious hot funnel cakes were. On a side note my thighs are not happy.

No. Denied. Cupcakes are pintrest reading girls' way of giving you a smaller portion of cake.  Cupcakes are stupid.  Just make a full size cake and let each person take the size of cake they want.  Also, cupcakes are messy because you don't use a fork.  Where do you start to eat it?  The top?  The bottom?

Cupcakes are for losers Rams.  Losers.

Moist.

My sister in law used to make cakes for a living.  Her cakes are so moist that you have to eat them right away.  Weird stuff starts to happen if you wait too long.  Her frosting is awsome as well.   :lick:

Too much icing will ruin a cake. Simply ruin it.

Too much icing will ruin a cake. Simply ruin it. isn't really a big deal, because if you like a lot of icing, you're really happy, and if you don't, you can scrape some off and eat less icing on previously mentioned piece of cake.  I guess its better to have too much icing than not enough, because everyone will be able to enjoy the cake the way they like it.  Really the best of both worlds!

FYP, you are welcome!

I have had many good cupcakes, and they leave me wishing "Hey, instead of a small, bite sized version of this, I wish I had a giant piece of it to shove in my face."  A good cupcake leaves me wanting a great full-sized cake.

Rams, I don't eat cupcakes very often at all, but my experience is that it is completely impossible to eat one w/o getting it on your face.  Especially with how out of control the ppl who are in charge of icing are these days.  How is this better in a social setting than one of those small plates and a fork?

you have 2 hands.  the one without the cupcake should be holding a napkin and a drink.

I don't know.  It almost sounds like you are endorsing getting icing all over your face.  Maybe if the cupcakes were smaller and you could reasonably maneuver them.  I mean, the avg iced cupcake is like 3.33 x taller than the avg mouth can open.  The math just doesn't work.  And if your response is just shove, then follow with a well timed wipe, well....I just can't get behind that.
