Patterson: I’m most comfortable power-fishing. Anything that involves chucking and winding, or heavy line I enjoy. My favorite way to catch them, though, is throwing a jerkbait in clear water.

eff YEAH!

We should probably split out our trophy cases so we have a section for manly power fisherman who chuck and wind heavy line all day and another section for worm/bobber guys like myself.

I've caught the following fish in my life:

bluegill
sunny (may have also been a bluegill, no idea here actually)
bullhead catfish
large mouth bass
northern pike

that's about 33% of the known species of freshwater fish that I've got covered and I'm still really young.

And on a related note, what kind of fish is it when you order a fish sandwich at a fast food place or LJS or whatever? Just a generic type of fish?

It's probably cod, but they can and sometimes do replace it with any other fish with similar color and texture, depending on the fish market.
