and hire Lon Kruger in teh next 2 or 3 seasons?
thoughts?
-
No! I have a feeling after this season we will be begging for Frank to stay.
-
What an awful thread
-
fire pitbull if he doesn't wear that cats jersey.
-
Frank more personality than Lon.
-
This ranks right up there with the "apology to ark fans" thread as all time worst.
-
What did Lon do at K-State that Frank hasn't topped? Both went to the Elite Eight, but then Lon's teams got progressively worse and he never won a game in the tournament here again.
Lon's a good coach, but Frank's better and oddly a much better fit for K-State.
-
Frank is supermaw and when he finally breaks up with us I will cry IRL.
-
JFC someone please hurry and bury this thread in fanning stuff. :dubious:

could be kidding. could be serious. either way, parody post.

This kind of edgy stuff keeps this website profitable.

Obviously time to "trade up" to Lon.
He could teach these youngsters how to play the game of basketball with sound fundamentals and maybe make some free throws. How can we expect to be compete for Big 8 championships if our boys can't make free throws?

There is already a Wabash Station Thread Title thread over on the football board. TIA. Mods??!?

SHOULD WE FIRE LHC Bill Snyder TOO?

Well, yeah.

Pat Knight looks promising. Bring on the Polos.

No denied. If she can't coach the Tenn womans team due to alzheimers(sp), I don't want her anywhere near our program.

He's by far a better coach than Frank. I guess what i should say is:
would you rather have Lon? We're obviously not going to fire Frank.

By far? Based on what?

what he's done at OU is impressive. Martin doesn't seem to be able to coach anything that resembles an offense (although this year is better) and losses like the Iowa St on Dennis senior night, and losing to Colorado 3 times lasat year, show the inability to make adjustments.
-
Here's what I appreciate about the original post...he had a replacement in mind. None of that knee jerk "fire a guy and, then not know what to do next." This guy has a plan, and I appreciate that.
I disagree, but agree to disagree, I guess.

He is one of our boys. K-State born and bred.
Grew up just down US-24 in Silver Lake, KS. Was coached by Jack Hartman. He owned Frank in the Sprint Center last year.
I don't think there is any question that this is the time to make this move.
-
Also, not right this instant, I said "in the next 2-3 seasons", which, now that Pullen, Kelly, and Clemente are gone, we will be able to see if he's really the coach he's looked like in the past.
-
What was the real story with Lon's departure? I had always heard that it involved a cheerleader in some way. :dunno:
-
If this thread isn't a joke I'm killing EMAW4life-JHL. No one's ever heard of him, so no one will know he's gone as long as the body isn't found.

We have some pretty strict rules about threats of violence on this board. So, you need to make it a promise, and not a threat, then I think it might be OK...not sure, though. MODS?

Frank's offenses have been more efficient than Kruger's every season he has coached. This year they are essentially even, but Lon has played a much easier schedule.

I can't believe I even took the time to respond to this jerkoff thread, but here it is,
After 5 years with Frank, we're good with a chance to be very good, maybe even great.
We were great early with Lon, then we irreversibly headed toward mediocrity, and he didn't even stick around 5 years to see what would happen after that.

Jerkoff thread????
Looks like a critical and objective evaluation of "Frank"s track record might be one of the few topics that is actually taboo for goEMAWtards.

I have no problem with a compelling critique of Frank. I haven't seen one in this thread.

From 1991-2006, how many postseason appearances did we make? How many NCAA tourney wins did we have?
Now, ask those same questions for 2007 through the present. There is no comparison.
Where, at Kruger's numerous stops, has had any long-term success(longer than 5 years)?

K-State fans should hate Kruger much more than Huggins. Kruger contributed greatly to burying K-State hoops.

Where's that Tannoudji guy? I'm sure he'd like to chime in on this.

You and underdog both should hang your heads in shame. Hooked by what appears to be a couple of dope sick meth addicts.

What was the real story with Lon's departure? I had always heard that it involved a cheerleader in some way. :dunno:
Kruger was banging a cheerleader and then , with the help of Venzy of course, whacked the poor girl and buried her in the Tuttle dam. Neither former EMAW can return to alma mater.

That sounds right.
-
LIES... It was a Classy Cat and she is buried in the backyard of the Sigma Nu house.
GET YOU FACTS RIGHT
-
No one gives two fucks about a cheerleader, he banged the wrong janitors daughter and paid dearly.
-
The way I heard it he asked the wrong professor if she liked anal beads.
-
I heard he banged Jon Wefald's son in the nose and his brain exploded.
-
Where's that Tannoudji guy? I'm sure he'd like to chime in on this.
'Noudji tried to warn you people about Francisco Martinez and his terrible coaching. Did anybody want to listen? Does Frank even acknowledge that there are hoops recruits in this state west of US-75??? When was the last time he signed a Tyrell Reed, Jordan Junneman or Perry Ellis? Instead we get a bunch of Clementines, Diaz's, Rodriguez'es and Henriquez's. Say so long to our once-proud Wildcat hoops tradition, senors.
Seriously, I want to apologize to the board, to Frank, all my KSU professors, and the whole Wildcat nation for my :flush: posting in this thread.
-
I will give Frank a lot of credit, the passing and movement was the best I've seen in a couple of years against LBSU.

Upshaw will dunk on him!

Hey FrankTards. Wanna try this again. Lon Kruger is putting a clownsuit on "Frank."
-
Yes, if only Frank knew how to get his players to shoot 98%. Frank sucks, bring back Lon.
-
lmao. you know PowerCat96 has been waiting for this day all year.

Frank is better get this team playing halfway decent ASAP. This is embarrassing!
