:dubious:
-
McGruder is not and will never be "the guy."
-
This will be a bad loss. WVU is not good. At all.
-
Hes worthless
-
His worst game in a long time, bad match up
-
Had a chance at the put back at the end of regulation...
-
Bad matchup? Please. This wasn't a matchup problem. This was JHR regressing to December of last year all of a sudden and playing like a clown-footed pussy.
-
McGruder was bad
Jam Sam back to his double fouling self
JHR invisible
Angel ????

They really aren't. We beat ourselves.

No, they beat us. Because we're not good either.

Refs beat us.Bottom Line.

Neither team is terrible. Neither team is great. They had the best player on the floor (Jones) and they won. Simple really.

Both teams are bad.
-
two teams with limited offense and good/great defense.

This.

If I asked Peggy Positive herself what she would call our offense in her most sugarcoated way possible, she would say:
"Limited."
GMAFB.

Jones was the best player but we lost because one person didn't do his job. It happens and it's why we lost. It's that simple. If jo guards the 3 we win the game, and we all fell a lot better

True, but I called him the best player because he was the most consistent making plays down the stretch and in OTs. They also had one of their FR role players step up and make some plays. We had Gip make a few and Rod make a few, but it wasn't enough.

When was the last time A-Rod hit a jumpshot?

southwell should have been in the game at the end of regulation and we should have had either mcgruder or southwell on that guy. frank set JO up to fail.

I though it was a good match-up. I mean, he would be hard to shoot over, if he didn't bite on the jab step. He should have played the 3 all the way. They needed a 3.

sight lines be damned, we're talking about a 6'8" guy who shot 40% from 3 two years ago and 30% last year, over 100 attempts each year. not exactly a 'jhr standing at the free throw line swatting lobs back down gary coleman's throat'-type of situation. jones seized a good opportunity and executed - quit making jhr the demon for that play when he had so many other shitty ones for an entire game.

this, that was entirely franks fault. anybody that thinks JO is able to guard that guy in a final shot scenario is either an idiot, or frank martin...

GRAB THE BALL
He's never had the best hands but they're exceptionally poor this season thus far, and I'm going to attribute that to him pressing, trying entirely too hard.
