i once got a hole-in-one in a game of putt putt with my eyes closed.

yeah, it was one of those holes where it's straight ahead with no obstacles, but that's still pretty impressive.

what i'm getting at is that i'm pretty talented at putt putt'ing.  not sure about golf, have ever played.

i'm pretty good at handling wild rodents without getting bitten.  i doubt if people get that vibe from looking at me, and i don't go around telling everyone every second day, so it qualifies as hidden.  it may be a skill though, and not a talent.

Chunkles doing a mark levin voice impression might just kill me,  if he can really replicate the unique whining pitch that guy has I don't think I could control the hilarity that would ensue.

I have this weird thing that when I watch a football or baseball game, I will see an obscure player and before they say or show his name I will know it.  When it is really a no name dude, I always wonder why the hell I knew who it was.   :dunno:  Probably osmosis or something from watching so many games.

I used to be really good at memorizing the skill levels of Tecmo Super Bowl players. (the baseline for good RBs is 38-69-40 for speed; if you're defensive hit power is 69 or higher you can consistently run over offensive players with a hit power at 13; Jim Jensen is an absurdly good backup TE for the Dolphins; the Raiders have more speed on their bench than most teams have in the starting lineup; Steelers' backup WR Dwight Stone was inexplicably the best kickoff returner on the game; don't buy into the instruction booklet hype about "a rejuvenated Blair Thomas and a developing Freeman McNeil"<--why the eff do I remember that phrase?).

See, all that was without looking anything up or having played the game for 8 years or so. To be fair, most people already knew that last one. Also, skinnybenny will lead the charge of people going apeshit about knowing more/being better, etc.

Maybe related, I also placed 2nd at the state math contest 3 consecutive years in grade school. The same Indian kid beat me every year. Consequently, I still consider myself the "people's champion" since they had to import a kid to beat me.

I would have destroyed him. His parents didn't even let him watch tv. So, I'll also add "beating Indian savants at video games" to my list.

I won the Kansas City and Kansas contests in 4th grade, won KC again in 5th, and retired on top.  Terrible at Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl, however.  Was at one point ranked 12th on XBox Live in NCAA Football 2006.

Free throws.  Eyes closed.  One handed.  Lights out.

Also, really good at playing the elbow game in the back seat when you try to jam your elbow in other people's ribs while they are trying to do the same back to you.  Undefeated.

Also, in person, I can lie about pretty much anything v. convincingly.

Excellent short-term memory.

Strange proclivity for pointing out things while watching any sporting event that are then stated by the color commentator within the next couple of minutes.

The States and Capitals thingy back in 5th grade was one of my favorite things ever.  Love pointing out to dumbasses that the biggest city in a state isn't always the capital.

"Sure Louisville is nice, but I'll be over here in Frankfort waiting for your dumb ass to show up.  LOL!!!"
