No K-State.

Miami nowhere to be seen :emawkid:

I have a hard time believing the pokes or aggy will be top 10 teams....time will tell i guess :dunno:

Both of those teams could have all the talent and money in the world and still find a way to underachieve...except of course if they play KState in a conference championship game.

Give me a break. Oklahoma State lost two games last season and A&M went to the Cotton Bowl. I'd love to underachieve like that every year.

Mike Sherman and Mike Gundy are both rough ridin' retards. There's no defending how shitty their teams are relative to the level of talent they bring in.
I bet you think Denny Green is a great coach.

crap give me a break. If KState went to the effing Cotton Bowl every season you'd be bitching by the second year. As much effing money and talent that OSU has and as much talent and fan support that A&M has they should have at least been able to steal one South division Title from OU or UT in the past ten years. They are the definition of underachievers.

Wow, excellent debate going on in this thread. :users:

Miami nowhere to be seen :emawkid:

There's no defending referring to a two loss team and a Cotton bowl team as shitty. I get the A&M stuff. That's always a pretty popular talking point, but Oklahoma State? They finished Top 10 last year and return arguably the nation's best QB WR combo this season.
I'd kill to have that Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) Mike Gundy coach the cats.

Gundy is better than Snyder. Better recruiter, better coach, better looking.
Better.

Gundy is better than Snyder. Better recruiter, better coach, better looking.
Better.
Gundy is better than most coaches. Snyder sets the bar far too low for measuring Gundy's worth.

I don't think we have enough Texan in us to play in the Cotton Bowl every year.
-
I have us at #21 in my poll.
-
Can't wait to receive votes after we piss pound Miami.

Gundy is better than Snyder. Better recruiter, better coach, better looking.
Better.
He is like what still younger than 45? They probably have another 10-15 of prime Gundy years ahead of them. So jealous.

Oh, I know. just trying to make sure that the tucks posting in this thread realize that he is way better than our coach.

I would be perfectly fine with the Cotton Bowl every year :comeatme:

We're in the year 2011 and Gundy is in his prime, while Old Ballz is pushing 80. No matter how much you pray about it, Snyder isn't going to get younger/smarter.

I completely agree. Snyder is definitely not in his prime anymore and he will never be again. But let's not make Gundy out to be some all world elite coach. He definitely isn't. One top ten finish and an Alamo Bowl win with all the advantages he has would make him about average or maybe a little better at best.
-
I don't even think Gundy has reached his prime yet. The guy just turned 40 a few years ago.

Just judging by their accomplishments at OSU, a school that supposedly has a ton of advantages, Gundy is much better than Les Miles. That's pushing elite territory.

Literally the only advantage Gundy has is T. Boone money, which, in effect, makes their facilities average relative to the Big 12 South.

Name 5 better current college football coaches.

snyder may not be as good as he once was, but he's as good once as he ever was. ponder on that for a moment

Chris Peterson, Nick Saban, Bob Stoops, Gene Chizic, Chip Kelly....of course it's very subjective and you can say "well so and so hasn't won a title" I don't think that matters because he will never win another one and LSU was never really dominant since he's been there, even when they won the NCG.
Les Miles is far from elite.

Winning 1 NC at a school that has been a traditional powerhouse does not make him elite imo. Of course it's a very subjective term so you can put him on that pedestal and keep sucking him off all you want.

Saban is the only coach on your list who is clearly better. Chizic is clearly not imo.

Hey MBC, the point is that Gundy is a fine coach and far from a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). He and his two losses laugh in your face and in the face of the entire nation.
