A source familiar with the search process said Martin explored the possibility of bringing in another well-known recruiter by reaching out to a Division I assistant coach and to a director of basketball operations with deep New York recruiting connections, before settling on Evans.

Seems like we've done pretty well in NYC already, not sure why we would want to hire a guy with NYC connections.  Guess promoting a dude with FL connections doesn't make any more sense though, seems like Frank and Undy would have enough.

You don't think we've done well in NYC or do you think we should just focus all resources there, rather than hire a recruiter who can open up a different recruiting area?

LBBIQ here.  Isn't it odd that Frank replaced the highest paid asst coach in college basketball with a grad asst?  I mean, one that has to go back to Manhattan to attend classes?  Or was Hill so far gone that it may actually improve recruiting?

It makes me wonder if there is someone on the horizon that will be available after next season that Martin has his eye on.  Or, Martin is out of here soon anyway and soesn't GaF.

It's possible that Miami didn't call because they thought they couldn't have paid one of Frank's assistant coaches $425k. Well, the media misspoke. Nobody on Frank's staff makes anywhere close to that amount.

Come on KSU, owner's rep actually can take up quite a bit of time from a guy.  I don't think we should be distracting one of Frank's guys.  Can we not find someone else?  We have one of the best Const Science progs in the nation and we have our dobo managing the building.  Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).
