no, equal

If I were to put a go EMAW spin on the AAU thing it would go like this......
NU was the only university "ELITE" enough to be kicked out of the AAU after a 100+ years of membership. The BIG 10 can lick our big red taint after JT gets his turn.

SOooo, your modis operandi would pretty much go unchanged? :dunno:
-
Just to clarify: UNL conceded the conference to OU and UT and then was unceremoniously dumped by the AAU (after 100 yrs)? Man, Nubbland is really having a good year.

I don't think it's healthy to have a big red taint.. I'd ask you about the latest 'taint research' but clearly your school sucks at researching, hence you guys getting the boot.

Meh. Do not want.

This is what makes goEMAW great. We somehow managed to attract a Michigan fan that fits in here better than most K-State fans and introduce him to the fun he'll get to have having NU in the league

Maybe we could contact meechicken to find out more about extra practice days to re-enter the AAU. After the poundings OSU have given to UM, the wolverines should be experts in "taint research".
-
Chicken? Like giving up and switching conferences to avoid having to get your ass beat by OU/UT every year? That kind of chicken? Red taint indeed.

I'd explain the whole conference switch thingy to you again JT. But it's kind of like explaining calculus to a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). Did your parents have any kids that lived?
-
I think this huskerpride dude seeks validation more than beems ever did

Jesus Christ, we all saw "stand by me" This line wasn't funny in the movie and it wasn't any funnier on your third attempt.

Good lord! I guess Nebraskans actually have to ask each other if they have turds in their pockets. SD- how do you put up with the stench of the native pocket turders?
-
Leave it to the Kearney Stater to bring the worst kind of smack.
Sad.

A KSU grad insulting on someone elses school is tantamount to comparing Prince to Snyder 2.0. It's laughable at best.
Sad.

All Husker fans require constant validation. It's what happens when you base your entire state identity on a college football team.

Why are you here? Don't you have some Purdue board to start vomiting on?
Jesus, one of the great joys of you guys leaving the conference is that we don't have to put up with you any longer. None of you are funny, none of you are original, and all of you need to find a new hobby because BBSing is not your strength.
Mods, can we get a blanket ban on all Husker fans? I know that's against the bylaws or something, but it would certainly make this a better place.

Huskerpride, popped into Williams and Sonoma over the weekend and picked up a Michel Bras 10-Piece Knife Set on a whim. Had a couple grand burning a hole in my pocket and thought what the hell! Good cutlery in your opinion?

Not a very durable knife. Good for home use but not really intended for commercial use. doesn't hold their edge real well unless you are an experienced knife sharpener and know how to use steels properly. The titanium plating is for looks as the actual edge is steel. I prefer Henckel or r.f. dick knives.

Thanks. I only dropped $1,600 on the set so if I need to throw them in the trash and get some dick knives in a couple months, it's no real biggie.

A Nebraskan making a "white bread" joke about Kansas?
Pot meet kettle
Oh, and I'd say thanks but no thanks to Cody Green. Too un-suicidy, submissive to authority. I prefer crazy motherfuckers that jump off buildings and smoke weed in their girl's apartment every day. Tate could be the real life Joe Kane. This reminds me of the best faux-Heisman slogan ever..."Kane is Able".

Whatever brand is in your wifes hands at the moment.

Not only do you carry turds in your pocket but you wife walks around with a turd cutting knife? You Nebraskans are rough ridin' weird.

For the Big10rs in the room, a taste of the insanity you will be greeted with at your athletic stadia this autumn.
From Huskerpedia (13 page thread):
Texas=power, coruption and gold Over the weekend, an announcement was made that the University of Texas endowment fund had decided to take delivery of $1 billion worth of gold. This was an absolutely huge development on multiple fronts.
First, the UT endowment fund’s gold purchase was a radical deviation from the standard institutional portfolio, the possibility of which we have considered for some time. Since UT has about $20 billion in assets, a $1 billion gold allocation would indicate 5% of its assets in gold. The standard institutional allocation to gold is 1%; a 5% allocation is a huge increase
Dallas ***hedge-fund manager*** J. Kyle Bass helped advise the University of Texas Investment Management Co. on taking delivery of 6,643 gold bars, worth $991.7 million yesterday, that are stored in a bank warehouse in New York.
HUSKER FANS I DONT THINK ANYONE TRULY UNDERSTANDS JUST HOW POWERFUL AND CORRUPT THEY ARE DOWN THERE. THANK TOM EVERY TIME YOU SEE HIM FOR GETTING US AWAY FROM THEM. THEY WILL BUY YOU OFF AND THEN SELL YOU. LOW DOWN AND DIRTY AND HAVE THE MONEY TO DO WHATEVER THE HELL THEY WANT.
Everything you could want from a huskerpedia post. Texas new world order conspiracy? Check. Bizarre adoration of Dr. Tom? Check. Fiat money, Gold or Gold Standard talk? Check. Complete lack of self-awareness? Check.
Also, they seem genuine in their "well wishes" for Cody Green which makes me think he sucks. Whenever someone good leaves they flip out.

Who has the crystal and who has the wooden trophy??
It was Vegas who had NU as 2 td favorites if the two met for the championship.
tOSU was averaging 4+ yds a carry against your defense that year. NU had the #1 rushing offense in the country at the time. Would of ran all over MU.
Crushing the Peyton Manning led Vol's 42-17 while MU barely got by Wash. St in their respective bowl games.
That's some convoluted logic you've got there.

Remember when they gave Nebraska a share of our 97 national title for a Tom Osbourne 'retirement gift' ?? OMG !! That was lame as crap..
Must feel totally hollow to Nebraska fans to have that 'title' that everyone knows they don't deserve..
Not to mention they are still claiming the 2009 dr. pepper title because Beebe and the refs rigged the game so Texas would get an extra second on the clock...
Is that like the call against KSU vs Syracuse?
The key difference here is that we all just think that call was hilarious. Meanwhile, the referee who put that second back on the clock had still better not show his face in Lincoln if he values his life.

We have the Sears trophy dude, it's literally on display at Schembechler Hall, (you can get your picture taken with it totally awesome) also that Vegas thing is pure myth.. So let me get this straight, Vegas released odds on a game that was never played and never scheduled to be played ?? and you were 14 point favorites ??
Washington St. was ranked about the same as UT at that time and UT was notorious for losing any game that mattered, we were ranked #1 for a longer period of time.. had a much higher SOS, beat both of our common opponents by like 35 combined more points, had the #1 rushing defense in the country (and total defense and still one of the best D's stats wise of all time in college football, but I don't wanna brag), and didn't need to play illegal kickball to beat anyone, let alone Missouri..
There is really no conceivable way that we didn't deserve it over you, I didn't even think you guys recognized it, wasn't it universally understood that it was just a going away present for Dr. Tom.. I mean, Lloyd didn't have to beg for it at a press conference even, it was just understood we were national champs, Dr. Tom lobbied and everyone felt bad because he ws retiring.. You seriously didn't know this ?? You gotta start following the Huskers man, you're missing some good football and historic moments..

Obviously not dude, clearly we had a crap ton of voters who saw both teams and knew we were better.. I'm sure the fans recognized our superiority as well, you guys should of had a loss but you got away with your guy kicking the ball to another receiver at the last second.. Did you not watch Tom's press conference after your bowl game when he was begging the voters to give him a share ?? I guess I don't know what lobbying is then, we were #1 going into the bowl games (where we just ho hum beat another ranked opponent) so Lloyd just got to talk about how awesome it was to win an NC.. We won the AP poll, you won the coaches poll so it was clearly a gift from the coaches, everyone knows the coaches poll is the worst one because coaches don't watch the game..
Besides how were you better than a team with oodles of NFL'ers (Charles Woodson, Steve Hutchinson, Dhani Jones, Ian Gold, Jeff Backus, James Hall, John Runyan, Glen Steele, William Peterson, Anthony Thomas, Tai Streets, Brian Griese, Josh Williams, Jerame Tuman, Aaron Shea, Chris Howard) there is quite a few pro Bowlers in there.. Well, plus when you combine the 2 polls we blow them out in total votes 83 to 50...
So, clearly the vast majority of voters who saw both teams thought we were better than Nebraska and it wasn't even close, not even sure how they can really try to claim otherwise, plus we won the UPI poll or whatever the hell it was called...
So, I mean, yeah, Husker was waaaaay off on the suggestion that people thought Nebraska was better.. We almost doubled their total allotment of first place votes, they were one vote away from not even winning ANY of the polls.. That's with Fulmer rankings us 8th because Woodson got the Heisman over Manning..

Is delusional your middle name?
Well I guess you don't understand when the bowl games come around that 95% of the coaches are at home on the couch watching the games do ya? The sports writers also had AU ranked 22nd at the beginning of 2010 so what do they know?
I have the game and post game on tape and have watched it several times. No where does Tom lobby for the trophy. If you'd like I can quote him for you.
I guess Grant Wistrom, Eric Warfield, Aaron Taylor, Scott Frost, Eric Anderson, Ralph and Mike Brown to name a few don't ring any bells? I can name drop all day too.
You backed into the trophy after a 2 or 3 point win over hapless Wash st. in the rose bowl.

In your mind I suppose that holds true ANYONE who watched both teams play knew better. Tom lobbied no one. He already had 4 NC's How many did Carr have? Who got the gift???
Oh, And by the way when I get home I'll send you a link to all the above to prove the facts.
Obviously everyone on Baylor and Colorado (our common opponents) thought we were better too, man tough break for you guys.. I feel bad that I had to drop all this info on you, you had yourself convinced..

Funny... I don't see your vaunted defense mentioned anywhere on those two links??
Wash St. finished in the top 10 in both polls and we won by 5, we had a two score lead with less than 3 minutes to go, clearly you didn't watch the game.. Also, most of those NFL names are unimpressive to say the least.. We got more 1st place votes, did far better against common opponents, had a much better SOS, were ranked much longer at #1, didn't need an illegal play to beat a 7-5 team, hell we never even had a close game against a 7-5 team, had more NFL players (and better NFL players)..
I'm not sure there is any other way to compare 2 teams that didn't play each other, clearly we have the advantage in all categories though..
As for the links, because were not on somebodies opinion poll makes me wrong ?? I quantified that statement with statistically speaking that D was amongst the best of all time.. Whether or not we make Joe Blows BEST D's EVER makes absolutely no difference at all..
-
Isn't backing into a trophy when the teams ahead of you lose and you move up by default? So it was actually the cornholers that backed into a share because of michigan's slim victory silly nub.

Yeah, we were ranked #1 in both polls coming into the game against a top 5 opponent.. We won by 5, they beat UT by a bunch, not sure how that automatically qualifies them as better or us backing into the trophy.. I do know we were better against our 2 common opponents though, by a good margin, which is actually something you can use to compare 2 teams..

The 1997 National Championship was split between Michigan and Nebraska after the teams went 12-0 and 13-0 respectively. I bring it up because it still irks me the way the split was handled.
The two teams were very close in terms of their schedules and their records. Homerism aside - both deserved the title and since they couldn't settle it on the field a split was the right thing to do. Unfortunately, it was portrayed by the sports media that the coaches awarded Osborne a 'gift' of a title since it was his final season.
Osborne had announced his retirement on December 10th, 1997. Coming into the final game of the season, Michigan held the number one position in both the coaches poll and the AP (writers) poll.
Michigan had moved to the number one spot on a weekend in which they thrashed number two-ranked Penn State 34-8 while Nebraska had won in overtime 45-38 over Missouri. (The Missouri game featured Matt Davison's flying touchdown catch on the final play of regulation after a Scott Frost pass was deflected up into the air by a fellow Husker receiver - certainly a case of divine intervention yet I never see the argument that the title was a gift from God.)
As season’s end approached Nebraska beat Texas A&M 54-15 in the Big 12 Title game and in the last game of Osborne’s career destroyed number three-ranked Tennessee, 42-17, in the Orange Bowl.
Michigan ended their season hanging on to beat a Washington State squad in the Rose Bowl, 21-16. Washington State got the ball back at their own seven yard line with 29 seconds left. They drove to the nine yard line with two seconds left when officials ruled that time had run off the clock, thus ending the game. Had Michigan beaten the Cougars more soundly things might have been different.
So what irks me so much about it?* The argument can be taken both ways.
If the '97 National Title was a gift to Osborne from the coaches, couldn’t one take the position that Michigan's title was given to them by the sports media since they hadn't won a title since 1948? Nebraska won titles in 1994, 1995 and was on a 60-3 run over five years - no doubt the writers were getting fed up with Nebraska's dominance and desired some new story lines (as well as an excuse to sell loads of National Championship paraphernalia to starving Michigan fans).
Perhaps the writers had revenge in mind Nebraska - payback for the ‘94 season title when they were voted number one in both polls while Penn State had also gone undefeated - something that Penn State fans haven’t forgotten after all these years.
The ‘97 National Title to Osborne as a gift from his fellow coaches? No. He got it the old-fashioned way. He earned it.

What's truly sad is that Nebraska actually beat them a couple of times in basketball, but almost none of their fans even know.

With one more win, Nebraska deserves national title

MIAMI (Jan 2, 1998 - 05:12 EST) -- If Nebraska beats Tennessee in the Orange Bowl by the margin the odds makers say it should, then the Cornhuskers should win the national championship. They wont, but they should.
Too many voters are too reluctant to drop a winning team. And that's unfortunate for Nebraska.
In voting unbeaten Michigan over unbeaten Nebraska for the last third of the season, I based that first-place vote, in part, on Michigan's tougher schedule. The bowl games have changed my perspective.
The Big Ten was overrated. That became more evident with every bowl game: Michigan State lost to Washington 51-23. Iowa lost to Arizona State 17-7. Wisconsin lost to Georgia 33-6. Penn State lost to Florida 21-6. Ohio State lost to Florida State 31-14. Purdue, which Michigan didn't play, was the only other Big Ten winner (33-20 over Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl).
Michigan's opponents, five Big Ten teams and Notre Dame, went 0-6 in the bowls.
Nebraska's opponents went 2-2 in the bowls. Washington and Kansas State won; Missouri and Texas A&M lost.
Here's what I jotted down on a notepad after Michigan's 21-16 Rose Bowl victory over Washington State: Records: If Nebraska beats UT in the Orange Bowl, it will be 13-0. Michigan is 12-0.
Opponents: If Nebraska beats UT, its opponents record will be 76-74; Michigan's opponents are 74-67.
Dominance: Nebraska outscored its opponents by 30.7 points per game; Michigan outscored its opponents by 17 points per game.
More dominance: Nebraska outscored its opponents with winning records by 23.6. Michigan outscored its opponents with winning records by 10.8 points.
It's too easy to say Michigan was No. 1 and won its game, so it should stay No. 1. That's not the way the system is supposed to work. Our archaic method of choosing a college football champion is based on style points. Nebraska lost style points because it beat Missouri in overtime and beat Colorado by three after leading by 17 late in the game.
However, against good teams, Nebraska, not Michigan, has been more stylish. The Cornhuskers beat 11-1 Kansas State by 30 points. They beat Washington by 13. They beat Texas A&M by 39 points just three weeks ago.
In Thursday's Cotton Bowl, those same Aggies almost upset a UCLA team that had won nine consecutive games. Don't forget that Michigan only beat Notre Dame by seven points, Iowa by four and Wisconsin by 10. Its most-convincing victory was against Penn State, which for much of the year was the most-overrated team in the country.
Michigan deserves tremendous credit for an unbeaten season. But if Nebraska plays well in beating Tennessee, it deserves the national championship.

Yeah, I agree there was a sympathy vote in the 1997 National Championship. Michigan had not won a NC since 1948 and a Big 10 team had not won one since 1968, so yes I think there was a sympathy vote for Michigan. Not for the coach who had just won 2 National Championships in the last 3 years, or a football program who had won 4 since the last time Michigan or a Big 10 team had won any. (AP & Coaches Polls). Yeah, dude linking more butthurt Nebraska fans is not going to win you any arguments or the opinions of a couple sports writers who were clearly in the minority, the majority of voters voted for us, and we compare favorably in all comparable measures.. The only thing Nebraska has in it's favor is the opinion of a couple rogue of sports writers, and a few coaches who wanted to send Dr. Tom off with a feather in his cap..
Also, we beat 8 top 40 teams while you beat only the 5 that finished in the top 25, which is why we had a considerably higher overall SOS.. So yeah, you even lose that lose that argument, tough break, bro.. We also won the FWAA poll, AP poll, and NFF poll.. Meaning we won 3 of the 4 recognized polls of that era, and the only poll you won (the coaches poll) was by 2 votes.. It's really not even close..
Also, I never said they were the Best D of all time, I said statistically they are among some of the best of all time.. I still see it on random graphics during T.V. broadcasts when they show the top rushing D's or what have you, but a cursory search couldn't turn up any all time NCAA lists for team stats, maybe you'll have better luck..

Former Nebraska QB Cody Green visited Kansas State this week - http://bit.ly/mOh8T1 (Premium Rivals content) #Huskers
TOLD YOU MOTHER FUCKERS!
-
Who's interested in you and which colleges are you looking at?
"Right now, it's really in the beginning, feelers stage. I've talked to Tulsa, U of H, (Texas) A&M, K-State and Baylor. Mostly the guys who already I had a previous relationship with through high school. They were all right there the minute I declared I was going to leave."
Have you visited any schools yet?
"I made a visit to Kansas State this week and it went well. Coach (Bill) Snyder and those guys are a class act. When you have a legend like coach Snyder, everything feeds off of him. He's like coach (Tom) Osborne in that way. Their whole coaching staff are great guys to be around. I had a lot of fun.
"I'll probably be visiting Tulsa pretty soon too. I really would like to have my decision made and over with before the second session of summer school begins. I'd love to be enrolled and working with the guys before fall camp rolls around."

listen, the kid isn't Michael Bishop. But he's better than any QB we've trotted out there in some time. Maybe Sams needs time. We have no post-chamber succession plan.
-
Cody is a great kid and has an outstanding disposition. He doesn't possess the quicks that alot of Snyders past Qb's had though. Puts the ball on the turf alot. But when he is on he's a decent passer.

Jonathan Beasley was definitely serviceable, especially as a Senior, at QB. Green is faster than Beasley.

I've been working tirelessly to get the QB on the phone since word broke that he was transferring. It seems Nebraska guys are the only people he's talking to at the moment because I've left voicemails, text messages, and everything else under the sun and have yet to hear a peep.
Anyway, today, I spoke with his mother and she says he's still in Lincoln, packing things up to be home next Wednesday and will be in the area for a while before heading to the Peyton & Eli Manning Passing Academy. He was selected to be an instructor there this year.
I know you've already heard of him visiting K-State and what he thinks of Coach Snyder. Just wanted to let you know that we here at GPC are trying to get a more detailed story/description of how his transfer is going. It's just taking a long time to get a hold of him. When we do reach Cody, trust me that you'll have an update within hours.
Hang tight...

Not really surprising considering the most topical discussion point of the day amongst the GPC contingent has been the suggested removal of 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid spilled on a driveway by either powerwashing crew or clay cat litter.

Real EMAWs would just hand their house keys to the nearest homeless person and drive over to one of their other houses...problem solved.

Agreed, but I would also grind the kitty litter into the concrete with a 2X4.

FWIW, I think he makes good decisions. Runs the zone read better than anyone else I've seen. And that's more entertaining than a QB draw every time we're 1st and 10 between the 30's.

Suck on that Josh Freeman. Holy crap i can sleep at night finally knowing we have raw talent at the QB position. Incredible!

More from 2009...
As things now stand, Green said that Nebraska, Texas A&M and Alabama are the only schools he's focused on.
"I've really narrowed it down to those three, but I haven't completely closed the door yet," Green said. "The dream schools that I had have already all offered me: Texas A&M, LSU, Nebraska, Miami and Boston College are the ones I really wanted to offer me, so other schools (offering) probably won't make a difference."
Besides being impressed with coach Saban, the staffs at Nebraska and Texas A&M have made a very positive impression on the talented signal caller.
"Coach Rossley and coach (Mike) Sherman are NFL guys and just talking to them for 45 minutes I learned more than I have in any other 45 minute session talking to anybody. They're very, very knowledgeable, and I know they'd help me out a whole lot."
He expressed similar sentiments about the NU coaches recruiting him.
"Pretty much the Nebraska coaches I have met are top-notch guys. Coach Eck (Mike Ekeler) is great, and I talked to coach (Bo) Pelini. Those are like pretty much the men that can make things go by their personalities.

Look, I love Steve Dave, but if you told me that I could fire bomb the state of Nebraska and get away with it, I'd do it in an instant. SD would be a martyr. Win-win.
They are going to be SUPER pissed about this one....ESPECIALLY when Martinez gets rough ridin' OWNED in the Big 10 and they are begging for a 6'4" laser beam shooting adonis who can also run....sorry bros, he's ours.

no. no. and no again.
you watched vid of sams as a receiver? GREAT ball skills, excellent body control, and some change of direction that drips excellence. Oh, and he's 6-1, not 5-8. If Sams had a condore like wingspan I'd be seeing shades of Michael Crabtree in terms of potential but that was one of the elements that set Crabtree apart.

Loads of dumbasses on here.
Obvious to anyone is the FACT that Sams would still play WR in crucial situendos (ala Two-Star Terrance Newman of Salina fame, and Auibli Tubouli from Mark Mangino fame).
Someone send SD and Kitton Mittons a VHS of Two-Star Terrance single handedly defeating Syracuse ON OFFENSE in the Whatchamacallit bowl.

Roberson was in the '99 class I believe...so I'd say this is the best Snyder recruit in 11 years minus the Ron Prince years. Ronnie had Freems and a "in case I get fired" trust fund so he never had to worry about moving the ball or defending it either.

What I am imagining is a Elite 11 quarterback, by the name of Cody Green using his nationally ranked accuracy and nationally ranked scrambling ability to win over the hearts and minds of non-Nebraska living non-dumbasses as he obtains rings and other award jewelry (e.g. nice bowl game watches and/or bracelets. Do they do bracelets? I don't know) over the two years of Sams eligibility.
Non-mongoloid non-Nebraska living people are keenly aware that we will line up Sams all over the field.
He punted in HS. What's that you say? We need a Danny White Quick Kick / Fake Quick Kick on third and 20 from the 50? No problem.
Rashaad Washington just sent me a PM and said that Steve Dave is a rough ridin' dumbass and that he wants to fight Steve Dave at SummerPak because Steve Dave doesn't "get it." :horrorsurprise:

pete, lay off the GPC freak athlete cody green juice. he can't run. he fumbles a lot. he throws a lot of balls in the dirt. he's better than what we've had.

Whose team are the tucks on in '12? If they are on team Sams, I might move my vote to team Green.
I don't have a GPC account, so this is an honest ?

I was thumbing around on the other message boards about this matter. This comment made me laugh...
"This is the problem with guys who play for Nebraska "these days." They aren't really, truly loyal to Nebraska. They don't wholeheartedly care about Nebraska. They are just here to play football. They really aren't in touch with our rivals and traditions.
Growing up in Nebraska, Nebraska football is everything. There are no other teams. Especially Kansas State.
Kansas State is a main rival of ours. I absolutely hate Kansas State. Cody Green should hate Kansas State.
Its fine that Cody Green is transferring but to go to Kansas State....come on. You can go just about anywhere else. Not Kansas State.
It really makes me question how much effort and dedication guys like Cody Green put in to prepare for Kansas State and other similar teams. If they don't truly hate the team, maybe they don't truly care if we win or lose. Im sure they want to win but they don't hurt when we lose."
The guy wants to play football, asshat. Let him play football.

you really can't expect LHC Bill Snyder to compete with whoever coaches Tulsa when it comes to a head to head battle for a recruit. not a level playing field.
EDIT: Congrats though Hatter

pretty much. guy on GPC said it was KSU. for a couple days nothing. then guy on GPC says it's Tulsa (prolly)>\

i'm never gonna say i didn't want him. but it doesn't sting THAT much that he's not coming.

Yeah, there just hasn't been much time to fall in love with having a good quarterback again. It should sting more, but it's all happened so fast.

I'll get back to you on that after I see us play this year, he has been giving me a massive hard on with his recruiting though.. Pretty much everyone who visits either commits or screams 'Michigan is #1" from the mountain tops..
It's made the off season really fun, which is a drastic change of pace from the Rich Rod era, not that his recruiting was bad, but it wasn't great.. Plus we had Admin and alumni convincing in state HS coaches to NOT send their kids to him, everyone was acting like a bunch of mommies..
-
Would be nice to be able to follow recruiting at a place like Michigan. On pretty much everyone's short list right of the bat.
-
Well, this is disappointing.

So Green was supposed to transfer to KSU. Now, he's transferring to Tulsa. But, outside of this board, I've not seen anything which substantiates either theory.
Am I missing something? Was there a post a few pages back that confirmed his transfer to Tulsa??? :ck:

no. some guy on GPC said that he was coming to KSU. Then Gates on GPC said that he couldn't get ahold of anyone in the Green camp (shocking) but that he was hearing Tulsa instead of KSU.

Gotcha. Thanks.

I am new to this board and if the Cody Green thread is symptomatic of the others, there are a bunch of negative, nasty people that don't like coach Snyder. Hope most are gayhawk posers. Snyder is the very best college coach in the history of the game. That is not subjective. No one would have been able to do what he did.

That is completely untrue. I don't dislike him at all. I just don't want him to coach here any more.
I would prefer he fire his son though. I don't like him all that much.

I'm not really even a negative person... I'm usually quite happy to be alive, breathing & able to take nourishment <----- in fact, I say that to people when they ask me how I'm doing. The nerve of this concordia bad person calling me negative. :shakesfist:
Dude, Just because the only thing to do in that town is go to Dairy Queen or scratch/write crap into the sandstone cliff off east 10th street doesn't mean you have to have such a negative outlook on society.

he is rough ridin' shitty. bullet dodged.

Pretty obvious we said "thanks, but no thanks". Of course, Snyder most likely said "Get off my lawn!" :shakesfist:

His loss. He just passed up the opportunity to be coached by a Hall of Famer. Unbelievable.

Apparently he's never heard of Bishop, Roberson, and Beasley. Del Miller makes quarterbacks out of nothing.

so, we're out the window...

Considering they throw it around a lot at Tulsa I suppose this makes sense for Green, but it sucks to swing and miss twice on transfer QBs this offseason. Although not having Forcier may be a blessing in disguise. Seems like the kind of guy that teammates hate.

so does Bryce Brown but I'm happy to have him and would gladly take Forcier if he changes his mind
-
It's pretty obvious Cody Green just wanted to go somewhere where he would actually see the field. Apparently, that wasn't in the cards at Kansas State University.

Bryce > Tate, so I guess that makes me okay with him if teammates do in fact hate him. Although, with Arthur in his posse I'd try my best to like Bryce.

With the number of qualifiers to Cody even seeing the field that Lord Bill probably made clear, it is no surprise Cody said thanks but no thanks. Given our inherent disadvantages (some weak asst. coaches and trying to recruit to a place where the Country Stampede is the year's most exciting event), getting transfers is key for us getting back to DoD levels.
-
At the Tulsa game, this guy is terrible. I can't believe at one point we actually thought he could contribute at KSU.

Think about this: Most kids today weren't even born yet the last time NU won a NC. Depending on their age.
FACT.
FACT your grandparents, parents and your CHILDRENS CHILDREN will never see KSU win the NC...EVER.
Bump.
