One thing I am going to miss is the regular beat downs we put on their other "major" sport, albeit, it is a double edge sword. The regular wins are good, but with the departure of one of the most underachieving major conference D1 basketball programs in NCAA history, a program with ZERO NCAA tourney wins, it only makes the Big 12 that much tougher. The worst thing about it is, most of the bandwagon Cornhole Football fans (like Pride for example) don't give a $hit about basketball, well, I guess they do . . . if Creighton is good.

Even Doc Osborne is there talking about how the TAXPAYERS are going to save Cornhole Athletics a bunch of money on renovating the BDC, a taxpayer funded facility that apparently Doc isn't too keen on maintaining, now cutting back on all the upgrades because the taxpayers (bilked again) are going to build Cornhole basketball a new arena.

Well the "new day" for Cornhole football is losing 3 to 4 games a year, and decades without conference titles.Since you're a Ksucks fan you should have no problem telling me what that's like. Except for a true comparison it would have to be 6 or 7 losses a year.
It's painful for bandwagon Cornhole Fans like pride knowing that it's now going on 12 years since Cornhole has even won a conference title.Bandwagon? I've been a Husker fan since the early 70's. It's all cyclical as they say, but god forbid it should last as long as a KSU cycle of 90 plus years.
They'll likely become like South Carolina or Arkansas, stuffing the stadium, every year will be "The Year", but alas at the end, it'll be at least 3 or 4 losses.
Their internal rage will build and build.
Bandwagon Cornhole Fans like Pride for example will be left with nothing but roaming the Internet looking for message boards to defend his slightly above mediocre football program on . . . the rage will really build when Cornhole fans realize they just moved from being down the pecking order in one conference, to being down the pecking order in another conference. But what do you expect from a school who said they weren't going to surrender to other programs, only to pick up their stuff and run like little girls a few years later.

to put it into perspective- my cousin's son just graduated from highschool. they live in papillon (basically omaha). he said he's going to creighton because of how much he loves sports and how good of a basketball team they have. that's the kind of stuff they're dealing with up there. i mean i'm old enough (barely) to remember when nebraska football meant something but you might as well be talking about black and white tv's or phones with cords on them when you try to explain that to him.
