my 8 year old scoring his first EA Sports NCAA football touchdown.

(even more proud he was playing with the 2002-2003 KSU team, having sproles run back and forth across the field 60 yards backwards, only to turn around and take it all the way to the endzone)

When my son did something he wasn't supposed to do, and then he flipped around, looked at me, and smiled.

I basically realized he was a smart little crap at that point.

Last summer, my son who was 4 at the time stood up for his 1 year old sister by punching a 6 year old in the stomach for laughing at her when she stepped in dog poop.   Kid doubled over and ran inside crying.

I was all   :nono:

but on the inside I was all  :pbj:

later the wife and I were all  about what a pussy that kid was.
