No, do not want. Austin Freeman will murder us.

On second thought, that shows us making the tournament...

Which at this point is the best we can realistically hope for.

To everyone who says we won't make the tournament, sports writers have made it pretty clear that they want us in it even if we lose every game remaining on our schedule. We're so money, and we don't even know it.

people don't realize that with CU is really our only "bad loss" in the eyes of the committee, and CU could still end up being a tourney team.  Losses to top 50 rpi teams really don't hurt you that much, as long as you can pick up a couple top 50 wins and avoid bad losses.

So you're just staring at that bracket and letting it sit there while not running at all?

I have my hands full of a list containing the names of oscar Pearl, Billy Clyde Gillispie, and Kelvin Sampson.  :dunno:

the committees have always erred in favor of high variability teams with shitty records and a few high-profile wins.  that has usually not been something i've liked.  however, i could like the crap out of it this year, if that's what's needed.

also, i'd like to take all of last year's anti 96 team tourney tards and run to a cliff with them (i'd throw them off upon arrival).

Agreed.  I especially remember OSU getting in back in 08-09, pretty much because they lost to better teams than KSU.

We've got to get some quality wins, I'd say 3-4 Top 50 wins minimum.

We could sort of erase the CU loss if we win out there, especially now that we have Kelly. If we are legitimately on the bubble the committee will throw out the UNLV loss b/c we didn't have Pullen or Kelly.  I really don't think CU or OSU are tournament teams, so our hope is that the committee gives us a pass b/c we didn't have Kelly.

The problem is only 4 games left on our schedule are against top 50 RPI teams (After playing 3 in our first 5 games).  The good thing is that if we play reasonably well we should be able to get wins, we just won't have a ton of quality wins.  So then we have to hope for VT, Gonzaga, and WSU to finish well and hopefully 1 or 2 of those can finish as Top 50 RPI teams.  Plus some of the other teams we play (like Baylor) in the league hopefully will play well to finish the year and finish in the Top 50.

Remember the Huggins year when we were a bubble team and went to the NIT and a bunch of shitty teams got in?

Yeah, this year is the exact opposite.
