omg it does not. maybe it's specific to the part the country you live in though, like maybe topekanians love the two door look and park their irocs on one side and their trans ams on the other but my god a two car garage with two doors is quite possibly the dumbest AND ugliest thing that you could do to a house. there is no argument for a two door two car garage. none.

just thought of a reason why you might have two separate garage doors. a townhouse situation were one person owns the left side of the house and a different person owns the right side. see below.

Weird cause I think the opposite. Made a point to check out my neighborhood today. More two doors than I thought. Probably 30%.

you know what a #1door is good for?  letting potential robbers know what kind of treasures you have in your whole garage. I am firmly on team #2door

Two doors requires two garage door openers which is really inefficient.

tennis balls hanging from the ceiling seem very practical. Hardest part is probably getting the rope/string into the tennis ball. Second hardest part is hanging it from the ceiling.

I would say getting the string into/onto the tennis ball is the easy part. Hanging the ball from the ceiling with the vehicle parked in the correct place is much more difficult, unless you have freakishly long arms.

And just throwing this out here, but I have a double door, and two single doors on the same garage.

I think I may add a fourth stall because lil sd is acquiring ride on vehicles/bikes/scooters at an unbelievable rate. that or start a "get a new one, throw one in the garbage" exchange program.
