Maximizing your freeze/thaw cycles on concrete is the fastest way to make that concrete crack, spall, look like crap, and eventually fail much faster than it should.A simple thermostat could be used to hold the slab slightly above freezing eliminating any freeze-thaw cycle. That's a lot of money for a full winter

CNS, tell me what exactly to buy because I trust the crap out of you
KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue
Beer pro tip: never drink anything other than BL, coors, pbr, maybe a few others that I'm forgetting
bought this one from a small engine place near me. they deliver it tomorrow so if it sucks let me know and I'll cancel the order.http://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/cubcadet/snow-throwers/2X-524-SWE
cub cadet sounds adorable
After a long search betwen craftsman and ariens I decided to go with cub cadet. The dealership was awesome and set up the machine. With my dumb luck I bought the machine the year my area only had a snow fall of 2 inches. The following year we had a decent snow storm of about a foot and a few inches. The 524swe failed me. It initially started and ran perfect. Then out of the blue the chute stopped working. As I pushed forward it would unlock and shift to blow snow in a different direction. I mentioned this to the dealer and now I need to drive it over to them. One "major" storm and the machine has glitches. I'm very disappointed with my purchase. Everything else about the snow blower seems to be well constructed, but at this point I can only hope it holds up.
How do I fix a mailbox post that is wobbly as crap? I have a bad feeling that it might tip over and then I won't get junk mail. It's a wooden post that holds 2 mailboxes (neighbor and mine). I may try to hold out as long as I can and hope that my neighbor fixes it, but he is foreign (sorry for racist/bigoted post) so i'm not holding out hope.

I could probably arrange w/ them to just leave the mail in the yard?
in the end, EMAW will always win.
