pro: Dude is probably a project who will have a full year to get acclimated before needing him for serious minutes
con: still need size for 2016. maybe that's the staffs top priority now that 2015 class is sealed. I guess if cobb reclassifies for 2016 and stays w/ us we'll get that. FWIW I think Cobb was the guy we really wanted/needed

anyone have good tape on him? Found some old video that looks adrien diaz-esque

Combo Guard in The Flush (Can play the 1 or 2) - Staff believes he is going to be a really good player, so do I

Combo Forward in Claws (Can play the 3 or 4) - Has a great shot of ending up a 4 star. Has great versatility

Traditional Power forward in Eric Cobb - Florida sources are really high on him

Traditional Center in Dante Hales-Williams - Got a really good frame and is quite athletic have heard the rest of his game is starting to really come around. I do believe Dante is far along than JO was at this time in his career. But JO should great hand eye coordination for some one his size. Also JO was stupid long.

Ohh and we told Roach to eff off for some reason.

Wonder is Cobb is set to go prep school? Maybe we sent him up to the baltimore Catholic league for more exposure? (Weird move tho)

I get chasing Williams he has a chance to put some unique skills/talents together and become great a player, but I don't think we are in the position to take him over some other quality recruits. And I think he is the 4th best commit by far. But I haven't seen Cobb first hand.

Pretty pud offer list  :dunno:

Good chance Williams would of had a hell of an offer list next spring, if he plays well he could of really blow up. He has high major measurable so he would have a lot of value in the spring.

Most likely for academic support of some sort. I was not aware, but a couple years ago the NCAA upped the academic requirements for incoming student athletes beginning with the 2016 class.

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/8236949/ncaa-increases-minimum-eligibility-standards-division-student-athletes
http://www.ncaa.com/news/ncaa/article/2012-04-26/new-eligibility-standards-start-2016

If Cobb is on the fence academically I think you do anything you can to get him in w/ 2015 because it would be easier for him to qualify. Bmore may be a move to help do this (would also mean someone in addition to Jack would need to pack their sh*t this season). If he does reclassify to 2016 I hope he stays w/ us, he'll have a lot of good experience b/w florida, maryland and wherever he attends prep school

Espn move Cobb up to a four star again.

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/school/_/id/2306

Other notes: ESPN only has Roach as the 98th best player in the class. Wade and Brown haven't been reevaluate.  If I were going to rank Brown I would have him close to the 50th mark.

ESPN is rough ridin' garbage at ranking hoops players.

I guess ESPN has Dante listed as a 4* in addition to Cobb, that's good enough for me. oscar filling the squad w/ players directly on that 3/4* line

So we might have two four star commits and it is debatable that they are our 2 worst commits.  :gocho:

oscar is gonna have Nigel and Jevon play for that last spot. Whoever doesn't cut it this year will be oscar'd.
