Peters is a playmaker, no doubt. Its probably worth it that he doesn't want to stick his head in there, especially tackling backs. He has elite cover skills, some of the best in the league. However, when your other 10 guys haven't shown the ability to defend the run very well, the liability becomes a bit more glaring. Most plays aren't like that one, but that is ridiculous. Not only did Peters make no effort to make a tackle and even avoided it, Denver also made no effort to block him even though Peters was basically in the box. If KC"s front 7 and safeties were elite at stopping the run, this becomes something you can ignore, but I'm not sure if the Chiefs can do that, especially in the playoffs.
