Serious question? Do you like meeting goEMAW'rs in real life or does it ruin your experience since the mystery is gone? I mean I love it, I love meeting new friends, and talking about the board and stuff. However, I could see how it might ruin the mystery from some posters who want to remain incognito.

Meeting people takes the greatness of this board to another level. There's a whole other level of jokes within jokes to enjoy. Plus, seeing the contrast because poster persona and irl persona with some people is really entertaining/interesting.

Yeah, the first time I met fanning, I recognized him, but it was tough to tell at first because, unlike the picture, he didn't have sharpie all over his face.
