saw a bro that i knew i'd met a couple times before.. texted cartierfor3 and said "i think i see mocat

i walked up the hill and said "hey mocat you mushed me on the draft day thread today!"

and sure enough it was him

also, turns out, SPEmaw and I are on the same team

the cats got brought up and i was like which board are you on, and he's like "goEMAW

"

and i was all like "ME TOO!!"

Guys, I will never run out of how adorable J-Dub is stories. So, he's over today, and an impromptu backyard party happens down the street, so we go down for a beer and a burger and to let my kids play with the neighborhood kids. So, there's a neighbor of mine wearing a Colorado Buffalos shirt, and J-Dub asks me if she went there (she's like a 48 year old never married nurse, real nice gal and all), and I say I'm not sure.

Here's basically how the conversation went down (like 15 people were listening):

J-Dub: So you went to CU, from Colorado?
Neighbor: Yeah, grew up in Denver, went to CU.
J-Dub: Boulder's the worst, I lived there. Too many leather faced hippies and whatnot
Neighbor: What? Boulder is a beautiful wonderful town! What could be better?
J-Dub: Oh I don't know, Manhattan Kansas? Flint Hills? Home of KS Cats U and good, salt of the Earth, wonderful people!

It is adorable. I would have loved it 1,000 times more had it gone done like my FYP version.
