All Time Series in football as of now....
Iowa State leads 49-43-4......

Scoreboard! Scoreboard! Scoreboard!

I don't think you understand what "Scoreboard!" means  :dubious:

Maybe he was talking about basketball.

Oh you mean how we have similar resumes, lost to you on the road, but are fringe top 10 because we have a brand, where you can barely crack the top 40 because no one ever thinks about Iowa St?

When was the last time we lost to you guys in basketball? 2011?

Yes, which is why it's so hilarious how butthurt you guys are that we highly ranked and you're an afterthought.

My favorite part of that website is they seem pretty nice.  it makes me feel bad that the rest of the conference laughs pretty hard at them.

Yeah, it's pretty much the Canada of message boards.

Looking at it strictly from a "who should we be more concerned about comparo" standpoint, I think I'd have to give the edge to Wichita State over ISU. Arguably for basketball as well.

13 NCAA tournament wins?

:horrorsurprise: wait, we have more sweet 16s than they have tournament wins

So, we essentially have as many Elite 8's as they have all time wins in the NCAA tourney.

Just incredible for a basketball school.  That's basically right on far with Nebraska.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Tad better than Nubs, actually.   I think they take BB more seriously up there in Iowa City.

reading those posts, I assumed they were ranked.  Thinking they weren't, I checked espn.  sure enough, nope, not a ranked team.  never seen such cocky fans for a team barely scratching the top-40.

They aren't cocky, these aren't prophesies they spew they're dreams. They are wide-eyed, pie in the sky dreamers who want what we have.

Perfect description.

I think it is you who want what we have, dreamers.

Looked up the Jack Trice Reno.  Most recent article was from 2010.  Master Plan states: "the cost and timeframe for completing the second part of the stadium renovation have not yet been determined."

So, basically, it isn't happening.

Oh man, last night Tech coach was basically like "Iowa State, pfft!" when he literally said (about us):

"They didn't come into the game overlooking us and looking forward to Kansas."

ETA:  Iowa State, I think Tech just became your rival.  Congrats!

I'm sure he thinks that if Tech can beat ISU on the road, anybody in the Big 12 can. So far he's been right.
