Is the Evo that much better?Did you read Pete's & SDs summary? Essentially the only things that the Pre has on the EVO is the keyboard and the not having to add $10/month for 4G that we don't even have yet. I went shopping yesterday but like I said they're out until Monday (maybe) & the online store is out. Best Buy has them but I'm not sure I want to get one from there, not sure why. I'll still have the old beater tomorrow night.
MIR, you really should wait until the Epic comes out. I mean it's only a little over 2 weeks. But I guess you could always return your EVO within 30 days if you decide to switch.

I had been using sling mobile for 2 years before I got the Pre and I have really missed it. I haven't gotten much use out of my slingbox the last year because I don't use my laptop much anymore. I won't even consider getting a phone without sling mobile.

and making things even more interesting is the fact that Sprint's first WiMAX handset -- HTC's EVO 4G -- is simply one of the best phones we've ever reviewed. In other words, yeah, you could say that the Epic's got a lot to live up to. Is it up to the task? Let's find out.
the EVO is also on that short list for us -- and the better camera, bigger screen, and $50 savings versus the Epic still make it our winner in this 4G shootout, though only by the thinnest of margins. Needless to say, if you need a physical keyboard and you're looking for the one of the most musclebound Android phones money can buy, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
