I’m not a good judge of players watching film, but he’s 20 pounds lighter than deuce green. Same height, allegedly. Switch from defensive end to linebacker in the spring. Four years to play three. Surprised that USC offered. Looks like a development guy to me but I don’t know Jack about film evaluation

lol. Freudian slip. That’s not what I meant, but it’s actually true. Before the end of last season, I thought Scott Frost would get fired and I thought Klieman would win 10 games and Nebraska I would hire him away from us. Still a possibility after next year, but The more I think about it, I think Nebraska views themselves is to good of a program to hire someone with Klieman’s pedigree.

I’m really impressed with the people who found a way to hate/disregard the new coach who has two 8 win seasons in 3 years vs the pandemic and Sky’s injury and one of the best transfer portal guys oat. Impressive grand standing, just because you hate Gene!

Ive started to get a little more concerned about all the public QB offers we seem to have done in the last few weeks. Im not super caught up on how recruiting works these days, but is that a safety net, or a little concern coming in about Avery being a Cat?

Until someone buys your product, why would you stop selling, just because they said they’d be back?

I don’t know how the recruiting process goes these days. It just seemed like their were multiple ‘23 qb’s that we offered scroll across the feed. Probably just timing, but all of it kind of aligned with Avery and the Oregon offer. Just an observation

Last week's 3maw episode covered some football recruiting. The guy they had on, not sure who it was, was very confident in the staff's ability to land Avery. Much less confident, Kurtz included, in their ability to land Edwards. I had the feeling they might be a package deal, but that's probably me just hoping they'd both announce for the cats.
