I guess I overestimated last year's schedule, and didn't expect us to have the terrible losses to tennessee and oakland and junk. the terrible losses made it hard to feel good about Reid/Dorsey. This year doesn't change that either. The losses to Chicago and Denver at home, in games in hand, make today's win nice but pretty irrelevant unless they run off like 4 more in a row

I'm glad the Chiefs won, but I just don't see many offenses being that inept, but hats off to the Chiefs D, they came to play.

I'll ratchet back comments on the offense because they did score points against a good D, albeit a D missing their best DB. But the inability to capitalize on continuously great field position and having to kick so many field goals is still troubling. The second TD the Chiefs scored was a product of just getting an ass load of possessions, that's likely not going to happen in very many games. They still can't get anything done down field.

I'm not. The Chiefs just did something awesome and you still want to piss all over them. It was amazing! Watching Peyton get worked over like that, in a broncos jersey, was delicious! We know this team has flaws, I don't know why you always have to bring them up after a win. "Well this team can only beat a 3 string qb...." "Well, their best corner was out..." Yeah, 'Dax, it's football, crap like that happens every week.

Apparently you didn't read my post. Because the only criticism I had was strictly on the offense, where it was deserved given the field position that the defense and special teams consistantly gave them, and yet another terrible feat of clock management at the end of the 1st half.

But what part of: but hats off to the Chiefs D, they came to play.

Is difficult for you to understand?

The flaws will be continually talked about until the Chiefs organization actually fixes them. This isn't a one season series of flaws this is a season after season series of flaws.

i was weirdly confident about yesterday's game. but i'm still not convinced this team can finish 5-2, like it probably needs to.

I was too. I think they can sneak in at 8-8. Who knows tho.

I'm just now jumping back on the bandwagon. Can someone please catch me up on the playoff picture? Is Denver just going through a bad stretch, or are they imploding for some reason? Assuming we can't catch Denver, what's the odds that 9-7 gets us a wildcard?

At this moment the Chiefs have a playoff level defense, not just making the playoffs but winning in the playoff level defense.

It's going to suck when Captain Swing Pass and the offense can't do their part.
