(Is it just me that does these things?)

The other day I put Splenda in my egg drop soup instead of my iced tea.

If I've already turned my car off, but am answering a text or something, I leave the keys in the ignition every single time.

I hum songs really loud without knowing.  Today at work I was humming the "hard work work" gatorade commercial song in a meeting on accident.

Similar, except I always take the exit when I didn't mean to.

Clean off my silverware with the scraps into the trash.

Forget to put filter in the coffemaker, brew up some grounds.

I'll zone out listening to the radio in the car.  If I hear something I thought was interesting I'll reach to hit rewind/back.

I always click pens/tops to dry erase markers.  I always walk away with them.  I have a big can on my desk that I put them in when I get back. Anytime some needs one of these things they just come to my desk and grab a few.

Similar note.  In college the engineering buildings were covered in rubber bands from newspapers.  I constantly picked them up, then when I needed to use my hands I would flip them onto my wrists.  Everyday when i'd go to bed I'd take off 6-8 rubber bands and not have any recollection of picking them up.  My apartment was covered in rubber bands.

Is this thread more for things like I usually have 2 sets of keys in my pocket since I usually pick up one set of keys out of the bowl, go do something else, then pick up another set when I walk back by the bowl?  Or when going back to Salina/Manhattan on I-35 I'll end up on I-235W heading towards Taco Grande without planning on it?

This morning I was halfway to the office when I realized I left my laptop at home.  Turned around and went got it.  As I was pulling out of the driveway, I noticed my work phone laying in the drive.  I get out to pick it up. Smashed from having run over it.
