1. We don't suck
2. Every single large western nation has players on their rosters that wither didn't grow up in that country or don't currently reside there. The game is global and the world is smaller than ever.
3. The only reason that this is an issue is that eurpoeans have pigeon holed America and American's into this "AMERICA eff YEAH!!!" flag waiving, hacksaw jim duggan stereotype. This I don't identify as an American thing is total bullshit, what does that even mean? Giuseppe Rossi is constantly catching crap from people on twitter, myself included, for talking about New Jersey in provincial terms, he clearly identifies as American, I don't think the Italians are giving him back. What about the scores of africans playing on European sides, or the dozens of Africans that live elsewhere that play for African sides? The entire argument is a complete farce. Wambach argument is insanely stupid, she has a rough ridin' teammate that was born and raised in another country. I bet Syd was like, WTF? She was born and raised in Canada, her husband was born and raised in England but wants to play for the US. The basic premise of Wambach's and Donovan's argument that you have to be "American" to play hard for the US team is mind numbingly dumb. If you think all of the American born players that suit up for the country are 100% committed and motivated then I can't help you. Anyone asking Clint Dempsey how much he cares when he's out there loafing around looking like crap?
Now that I have put that to bed can we get to the real issue here and it's the male genitals tease that was Wynalda's tweet? If he cared about the country he would reveal what his fixes are so that Suni can make them himself.
