There’s not really official literature on it for the mRNA vaccines especially. Personally I’d probably wait longer than normal to grab an Advil, but I wouldn’t feel bad about it if/when I did.

Same for me Clams. Mrs. SF got Pfizer chipped the same day and was fine. I did have a few beers later on that night and just sat around. Prob should have drank more water and moved around a bit after.

Can't tell if you guys are joking or not, but is there really a benefit to getting the Pfizer over Moderna? Other than it seems to have less side effects and you can get your second dose a week sooner.

no, side effects are all over the place with all of them and everyone should get the first one available.

What Mich said. You can look up all sorts of stats between all of them but it’s really not worth worrying about. Being picky at this point is like if you’re dehydrated and trying to figure out whether Desani or Aquafina is the better route to go.

MIL is very scared of vaccines so she’s another #onlyJnJ cause there’s fewer stories of 12 hour reactions. Also doesn’t think anyone should go to a vax appointment alone in case they die.

I’m pumped cause we always have a summer program with recruits that involves free fun and booze and we missed last year for obvious reasons. By all accounts looks like those who want will be fully chipped by late May, so should be good to go!

I did have a backup appt for Pfizer on Friday, which I would have preferred only because I get the second shot sooner, but I couldn't chance anything. Plus I will be 80% covid proof in 2 weeks anyway! I think posting up at a bar inside is one of the things I missed most! So close!
