Texas Tech's Norense Odiase(6'9 Jr C) is redshirting this season due to a foot injury. He averaged 2.7 ppg in 6 games this season. He averaged 8.5 ppg/4.2 rpg during the 2015-16 season.

Oklahoma State's Tavarius Shine(6'6 Jr G) is redshirting this season due to a back injury. Averaged 4.5 ppg/1.7 rpg in 6 games during the 2016-17 season. Averaged 6.1 ppg/3.3 rpg during the 2015-16 season.
