My grandfather died in his 40s from colon cancer and my PCP says I (age 40) still don't need a colonoscopy until I'm 50. I'm going to just pay for one out of pocket this year.Same. I read my coverage manual and there's no age minimum for a colonoscopy. They will cover it if my doctor orders it, in be calling Monday morning.i had a colonoscopy today, my first one! tremendous. and my first time under anesthesia, would highly recommend.i will admit that i was a little nervous but wow, what a ride! the day before drink was not great but honestly it was manageable. not eating for a day and a half sucks but I went straight from the surgery center to minsky’s and already ate a medium minsky’s prime cut.

I had it at 9:00 & was out for an hour. My wife drove me home & I feel back asleep for 150 minutes. I woke up feeling the best I’d felt in years. I’ve wondered a few times how much it would cost to have an anesthesiologist shoot me up with that stuff once a month, then I remembered that’s how Michael Jackson died.
Quote from: pissclams on May 17, 2022, 01:30:37 PMlol ya i 100% wouldn’t have been able to drive afterwards, I was a little dizzy for awhile after they made me register my driver with my paperwork when I got there and wouldn’t allow uber/liftI figured. That was exactly what you were like after Lib and I gave you a practice one.

One time I drove myself to an endoscopy with anesthesia. I'd previously had one and thought it was NBD. You're supposed to have a driver. Drove myself to work afterward. The next day, I had absolutely zero memory of anything that happened. WTF was I thinking? Do not recommend.
Dude use to smoke like a chimney. Who knows.
