I guess telling a recruit that we are 2011 Big 12 champs, wouldn't hurt...

I dont know why everyone want's to be CO-Champs, especially to TWO other teams, that we lost to.
1.) Tying is for pussies
2.) I don't even want credit because both those OU and OSU both beat us so they're the better team than us
3.) It'd be like a moral victory, eff moral victories

.........but that's just me.

This may be one of the worst posts I've ever read on this board. Or any K-State message board.

SIAP...January Visit (1/13)

Video of him as a SO in HS:

Profile from Miami Dade Blog: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/hssports/2011/05/herald-spotlight-imani-davis.html

Looks like a solid DITR, Panj.

Though I was kind of hoping for a bruiser in this class in the D. Thomas mold as a compliment to our scatbacks.

I could be wrong, but I think we're probably bringing him in as an athlete.  He doesn't really strike me as a RB.

Possibly CB

Kansas State Football / Re: Assuming KU fires Turner Gill
« on: November 27, 2011, 04:40:19 PM »
Plus KU would be competing with a lot of programs this year for a coach.

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/11/27/charting-the-2011-coaching-carousel/

Surely this list will get longer, too. UCLA, Arizona St, and Wazzou are likely to can their guy too. All of those are at least equal to the KU job. Then who knows if A&M will open up.

I can understand why they would fire Gill this year, but it makes more sense not too.

Yep.  Zulu is going to have his hands full, that's for sure.

Lots of attractive BCS schools with openings and projected openings soon to be vying for coaches.

Already open
---------------------------------------------
Arizona
Mississippi
Illinois

Soon to be open
--------------------------------------------
Arizona State
Washington State
UCLA

Very probable
--------------------------------------------
Texas A&M
Boston College
Maryland

As bad as Maryland was they're not going to fire Edsall a year after firing Ralph Friedgen.  Not only that but Maryland may be more broke than KU, they just announced that they're cutting 8 varsity sports.
:sdeek:

So who does KU hire now? Even though Zook finished 0-6 at Illinois, I can see KU possibly taking a look at him.  :dunno:

Or what if they go after Leach.. :ohno:

They could also possible look at what there big bros did and rehire Mangino?

Who knows, who would want to coach at KU.. :jerk:

Bet he is re-thinking his de-commitment from us and to Tech now.

We could REALLY use him now more than ever at this point in the season and he plays on a shitty Tech team and seems he never sees the field, maybe injury though?  :dunno:

what was the BS call? I must have missed it. but seriously...this season for A&M has made me laugh a lot. They're so screwed in the SEC in pretty much every way.

Pretty weird thread here, folks.

this. also, Daniel seems to have a tiny face.

Going to look amazing under a reflective visor.

RGIII style?  So, does he keep number 4 or change? If he changes, what number?? I say he possibly takes 2Y's number. Just imagine...

Harper, Thompson, S Smith, Sexton. Those guys have played pretty well since Lockett went out. Plus T Miller got snaps last week but no throws at him, I think he'll be pretty good too.

Would be really nice to have Lockett and B Smith though.

:dubious:  Ya, he's not the #4 anymore, broke collar bone yesterday.

Can confirm.... Miller will step up.

I know a Tebow fan who said he was waiting until CK wins a conf title or gets to a big bowl before he will grudgingly admit it.

Well, this works out perfect.

I, for one, am hoping that Houston and Michigan get beat.

Houston is definitely going to choke.

2010 Boise State vs Nevada style.  :lynchmob:

Sat on the KU side this year at the game....Most annoying/stupidest/lame thing ever for a fight song. Oh yeah, they include whistling too. makes it worse

Virginia Tech is a national powerhouse and is back in the top five again this year.  Lots of sour grapes in this thread.

Wrong, VaTech has never won a NC and plays in the ACC.  Next

K-State has never won a national title in anything and plays in a depleted Big 12.  You were saying?

Get out of here.  :chainsaw:   This is where he goes off on how great KU basketball is.... :jerk:

Kansas State Football / Re: Poor Turner. Hope he's ready to skip town...
« on: November 20, 2011, 01:45:01 AM »
Just saying, if he's a good coach, you would think that they'd play more competitive games this year and not get blown out so many times. The Iowa State and Baylor game, KU should have won, but they lost because of bad coaching. Almost same with the OU game, KU played good for a half, then came out and just got spanked. I just think if he really us a good coach, then KU's games would be more competitive and he'd win the games they should have.

please and thankyou.
