OSU is just going to be terrifying next year.

I believe they are adding two freshman top100 guards to boot

We have a couple top 1000 guards, don't we?

They aren't on it right now, but they should be the next time it's updated.

I guess i feel validated.  Dude would get destroyed by nba point guard.

Validated in what way, he was a projected top 3 pick. He isn't returning for seasoning, he's coming back to stay in college another year, he is supported by the Forte family so he isn't broke. He is likely to slide in the stacked '14 draft. Phil Senior really should be giving Marcus better advice and I'm not saying that as a butthurt K-State fan, which I am but still.

Seems like OSU is going to be stacked at guard but pretty crapty down low.

Same as this year more or less.  They replace Jurick with another juco center and get everybody else back.  Cobbins and Murphy are good for what they're asked to do.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

marcus smart has game and i'm glad he is spending another year in college, in the big 12.  it's pretty stupid to be upset that he's staying, fwiw.  so shut up on that point.

going full tuck on this one, but it's kind of refreshing to see a young guy that has millions ahead of him stay for another year in college because he's having fun.  the money will be there next year, too.

have fun, marcus.    :D

In what way? I'm not glad he's staying because he should be getting paid for what he does and Travis Ford should stop being so damn selfish and Coach Cal this kid. It is ridiculous that anyone would do anything but tell him he has to go when he is a guaranteed top 10 pick. Next years draft is projecting as one of the best in recent memory and that was with Smart leaving in this year's garbage draft.

Of all the things I care about in this world, whether or not Marcus Smart gets paid is at the very bottom of the list. I like watching elite college basketball players and I'm glad he stayed. He knows the risks he is taking by coming back better than any of us.

The NCAAs insurance policy that they give to projected pros has a ridiculously high copay, its like $20,000. I'm sure Phil Forte Sr. purchased it.

He should go,but it's not some tragedy if he stays.  I mean boo freaking hoo, the big 12 will be a bit more competitive and we won't be able to be mediocre and still have success.

Are you saying that it isn't his priority to play in the NBA and make tons of cash?

Yeah, but if both options are super fun, you take fun off the pro/con list of what is to be considered.  So what else does he gain from being in college vs what does he gain from going pro?
