Picked this up recently too for parades perhaps.

I love the pictures of the trailer in the generic JOCO neighborhood.
Did all of the John Deere tractor guys flip off all of the other color tractor guys and call them losers the whole time?

The competition within tractor makes is probably more intense to be honest.
I had a guy asking me what my 4020 serial number was to compare to his like I should know that like my ssn. He literally got down under the back end of my tractor to read the number and confirm my tractor was built after his.
Another guy pointed out I had an after market rock shaft cover, not original. He could tell because the seam between the pieces didn't match up. Tried to salvage the conversation by noting the fenders were original that I had found in a barn in Nebraska for sale.
After complements exchanged with another 4020 owner he added that he did the entire restoration himself. I was like uh yeah I did some of the mechanical(like fixed the 3 point is all I did), but mostly wrote checks.
I appreciate the encyclopedic knowledge some of these old time farmers have of their equipment, but man it's stressful because pretend city farmer Tom gets exposed pretty quickly.
My favorite guy was probably in his 70s? Long sleeves, straw hat on a 3020. Not a bead of sweat just enjoying the drive. Loaded up right beside me pulls his tractor on the trailer. Tightened the chain boomer himself with a 3 ft piece of pipe and good to go while I am fiddling with my tow straps and wench.
