He get a couple three eggs for his efforts.

The folks did, but they didn't have a mobile pen. They stopped because they got sick of butchering them after they stopped laying.

At that stage they only are good soup meat.  We feed our old chickens to the pigs.

Chicken rancher here (plus a lone duck).

We get enough eggs for the two of us. Got some babies a few weeks ago. Trying to up the production a bit.

Escaped all the conference talk today in Axtell, KS on a tractor Cruise.  Charity event for Nemaha County Historic Society. There were just short of 40 tractors mostly local guys.  I thought I had the farthest traveled door prize wrapped up then some flood aggie rolled into the parking pasture.  Tractor performance was solid, but I was hot, sweaty, sun burnt,, and dusty when it was done.

Tom, what is the hose/cable for?  Also when I seen your pic's and before I got to the your tractor pic, I was wondering if the poplar 4020s' were around.  I'm guessing JD made more 4020s' than any other model.

Hydraulic hose to the hoist cylinder of the lift bed on the wagon.   You don't like the hay ride kids?  Well grab onto something!

TY Tom.  I recognized most of these tractors, since most of them were very common when I was a kid.  I may watch this on History Channel sometime.

Oh man that’s great. My grandpa restored/collected Oliver tractors and used to take them to stuff like this.

Has to edit out the family names.

He literally dropped off all my belongings (some extra clothes and ammo) that I kept in the spare bedroom.
