I thought he was a big.
He's 6'7, but probably more like 6'6.25 or 6'6.5 in shoes. Most players heights are "in shoes" though. He plays taller than his height, so more like a 6'8 PF. He attacks the glass, which we obviously need. Jumps well and dunks with power. Lefty but dunked with both hands easily.
He will give us an athletic guy that can play with Wade at the 4/5 spots. Maiwen still likely starts with Trice coming into to sub for Maiwen. Stockard has a ways to go before being a helpful big guy playing along Wade.
I've seen the comparisons to Quincy Acy because of the strong, athletic, long armed PF. Acy was a little taller, 6'7 3/4 in shoes with a great 7'2 wingspan. Acy also put up 12 & 7.5 (Pts/Reb) in 29-30 minutes his Jr/Sr years at Baylor (2011 & 2012 ). We don't need Trice to Ave 12 and I'm not sure he could get that if needed (or the equivalent of 12 pts per 30 minutes)
