The numbers seem contrary. You _fan seem to be saying that fouling is the smart move, but his "defend" win % is better. Although if you do the math the percentages flip...
Foul: 122/135 = 90.4%
Defend: 589/666 = 88.4%
For win% Pomeroy accounted for winning/losing in OT. Either way, there isn't much difference in fouling or not.
Also, I never said fouling was the smart move. If anything I was implying that either strategy is fine though defending is slightly better by the percentages.
